Am I the only one bothered by Bruce action at the end when

he faked his death without telling even Alfred? to go this far to severe his ties to his past? even if his intention is to have a clean slat?

Robin...they mentioned Robin....this movie is awesome

I'm kind of wrestling with that myself. It feels right, but also...It doesn't sit entirely right with me. But I may get over that on the next viewing.

Though did Bruce even know where Alfred went? If he didn't he couldn't have contacted him even if he wanted to.

unless

bruce did die with the bomb. what alfred saw in the cafe is just him finding closure in his dream - remember alfred knows what selina looks like from when bruce was digging up info on her. as for the autopilot thing - fixing it doesn't mean bruce will use it; fox told him he was not able to fix it himself so bruce helped him. the bat signal is the one i am not sure but could it be Gordon get someone fix it because since batman redeem his name the light can be used as symbol of hope again?

You know what cracks me up. That quote from Nolan
that Robin won't ever appear in any of his Batman films, yet he throws a touch of him in at the end.
It was almost like he trolled us fans. :funny:

I don't buy it. The recovered bat showed that the autopilot was fixed.I don't think Gordon got anyone to fix the bat signal because he looked as surprised to see it fixed as we were.

There are a lot of things that were said that would never happen or didn't exist that happened and existed in this film.lol

1. Presence of a Robin-Like Character

2. Bruce retiring on his own free will

3. Bruce ending up with someone, let alone with Selina

4. Talia Al Ghul, despite how many times Marion said that she wasn't playing her

that is my favorite moment of the movie

Pointless? Bruce has been locked away for 8 years, because of what The Joker did, and that would be pointless just to mention his name for 2 seconds?

Right....
Yes, it is.

I'm sorry someone disagreeing with your minor quibble causes you to be so indignant.

Regarding THE important cameo.
someone said that Neeson was in two scenes and Ra's is alive. Did I miss something? I only saw him in the dream sequence

They recovered The Bat? I thought they were just examining another prototype and Bruce had fixed that one too

"I told you I was immortal, Bruce."

And he ****ing vanishes.

Chills. Just pure chills.

had to be...Fox had them checking over and over the Bat

They must be thinking of the younger actor who played him when he kneels down in front of Bane after Bane was attacked in the prison.

I just got done watching the movie. I enjoyed it but when I got home, I started getting mixed feelings, especially about the ending.

First off:

I don't understand why Bruce would have John Blake be his successor when he had nowhere near the same training as he did. Just his police training. He's putting him at risk.

Also:

If those two Wayne Enterprises employees were examining The Bat at the end for Lucius, then wouldn't they put two and two together who Batman was?

And I had a question:

Why would Daggett be after Bruce's fingerprints?

That film was great. The ending was very convenient no doubt. However do we mind it? Movies haven't ended like that in a while. I loved the fact that Bruce got to be happy with Selina. I loved that they kissed while being in their alter ego mode…Passing the torch to Blake great…Everything that I hoped for happened…Bruce's journey was a big struggle…but he finally was at peace…being together with a woman…Alfred's happy…Gordon needs Batman….Fox is happy Bruce survived…my god what more do you want from an epic conclusion?

He did tell Alfred. Or you think they meet in Florence is just a coincidence?

This was the way Bruce told Alfred he is alive and moved on with his live, just the way Alfred always dreamed when Bruce took 7 years training before become Batman.

Because the training is nothing. The will is everything.

I did feel a tinge of sadness in that moment of happiness. I know that Alfred said that in his fantasy, he never approached Bruce. But I would have loved to have seen them embrace each other, given how their last conversation went.
