Question about the first fight

Was this specific shot wasn't in the film? I don't remember it.

Anyone else notice it? Maybe it was too short or I was busy looking at Bane? IDK.

It was their .

IMO it worked out well, [blackout]especially when you saw the tear role down Bane's face as Talia told the story (for a brief moment you saw humanity within the beast before he reverted back to Bane) Also you learn that Bane's objective ultimately was to prove to Ra's that he could fulfilling the objective of destroying Gotham as well as being Talia's love.[/blackout]

Definitely.

The only thing I would have loved, is if we got to see Bane die a proper death. Say, if Batman walked up to him, saw Bane's body was mangled and his vest was torn off (somewhat protecting him from the explosion), Bane said a few words then died. But oh well...

Ok thanks guys.
I noticed a lot of scenes I GIFed were split second segments. Got a kick out of that :D

Agreed. I hated the way he went out. :down

It wasn't necessary that was basically done already with Two-Face minus a speech in TDK. Furthermore the nuclear bomb threat demanded Batman's immediate attention.

Or maybe just have him dying while Talia stabs him, but is unable to save him, and seeing him die, while you still get the crying scene right before he kicks the bucket? Overall, it just didn't feel like a proper victory for Catwoman to come in and just shoot him once, and have that be it. Extremely anticlimactic death. It would be almost like if in B89, Batman is beating Joker, and then out of nowhere, Vicki just shoots him from behind, and that's it.

Don't know if this has been gone over before, but the only major plot hole I could find was
how the hell did Bruce get back to Gotham from the League of Shadows pit?

So Bruce's knee-brace kick through brick walls thing, I totally thought that would be his gadget he'd use to beat Bane, but of course, they introduced it then we never saw it again. (That I can remember)

Who says Banes dead?

My nitpick with the movie is the 2nd Batman-Bane fight. There should have been a grander comeback for Batman. Like him leading the charge in the war or maybe bringing in a reserve of non cops.

Nolan isn't a fan of grand Batman entrances :down

He's Batman nothing impossible for him, but if you really want to know read the novel.

I thought that if they could get outside help with the
Spec Ops guys in the International Aid vans, then Bruce Wayne could sneak into Gotham as well.

Obviously getting INTO Gotham from wherever he was is the real burning question though. Use our imagination I guess ? Gathered enough money wherever he was and caught an illegal flight over ?

I dunno. I agree it's annoying but didn't totally ruin it for me.

One bit that I wished was touched on more regarding the prison was :
The history of it. WHO Exactly are thrown in there. And why ? Are they all ancient warriors ? What crimes have they committed ? How long had they all been in there for ?

It was a bit odd that Bruce would throw the ropes down for them all to escape when some of them could have been as terrible as Bane !

Seriously but is this something that no one else thought of ? Just me ?

I couldn't help but be immersed in the whole mystical element of the prison.

I am totally fascinated by lost world and ancient stuff.

Saw this in another thread which "kinda" makes sense
Since Bruce fixed the auto-pilot six months prior and was in the pit for about three months (I think), it's feasible that he somehow activated it to pick me up.

Two questions...

Is John Blake the boy who was at the balcony in Batman Beggins when batman gives to him the gadget? (the same with Rachel at the gas attack?)

How old is John Blake?, assuming that he watched Wayne's visits to the orphan house and also that he probably was 17 or almost 18, must be 8 years older, lets say 24-26 years... Isn't old to be Robin and according with Nolan. Robin at Batman Begins was in the cradle.

I think that Nolan mess it great introducing Robin. My personal comment is that it should have been Azrael...

B.i.n.g.o.

Completely agree. [BLACKOUT]I really hate in superhero movies when the hero needs to be saved by someone else. Makes them look totally weak. I would have rather seen Batman find some way to ultimately defeat Bane without Selina coming to the rescue.[/BLACKOUT]

What I loved about Banes death is that there was no hesitation, no monologue he was going to blow off Batmans head right away. I thought that was cool

That's doesn't make sense, cause he didn't know where the prison was.

I figured it was pretty obvious he was most likely wearing it under his batsuit. Once again people not putting things together in their heads. Why does everything have to be shown.

I dunno. Could easily be explained away with some kind of [BLACKOUT]GPS unit Bruce managed to keep with him[/BLACKOUT]. Who knows.

That still doesn't make sense, cause he was stripped of all his clothing.

I mean, I dunno? Its just one of those things that you gotta look over, knowing just how much it doesn't make sense.

Yurka's point, was to say they put so much emphasis that Bruce can now break brick-walls with his legs, that the feature was never implemented after it was shown. They might as well just not had Bruce walking with a cane.
