Robin? That's even worse. And like I said, he seems weak. Look at the way Chris Judge's character pushes Blake. That push wasn't that powerful, yet Blake flew down like he was nothing. But anyway, whatever. I'll wait till the movie and see if the ending is great, though I really wish that a final shot or something would involve the real Batman. Doesn't look like it since Bruce isn't in Gotham anymore.

You think its worse because you have preconceived notions of who Robin is based off terrible movies such as Batman and Robin. Maybe, just maybe, Nolan CAN pull off a realistic, non-cheesy version of the character. A version that never even puts on some stupid looking Robin suit. I mean, before everything, 4 years ago, I I told you Nolan was going to do Bane after the Joker, wouldn't that terrify you as well seeing how that went in B and R?

Wait, wha-?

How exactly did you arrive on this theory regarding Bruce deciding to train Blake? Shape never stated or gave the impressive that Wayne passed the cowl onto Blake. In fact, Shape just confirmed that JGL not once glances at the Batsuit.

No, you don't understand what I'm trying to say.
What I'm trying to say is that to me, Bruce Wayne is not some normal guy. Yes, his life is kind of pathetic and sad, yes, it's a lonely life, but it's what he wants. That's Batman.
And this end, you showed me it's about someone who has accepted this. He may be to old to fight but to him, having a "good life" would be continuing the fight but by training people, an army (Gotham's future). It's exactly the answer I wanted because after all, Bruce Wayne is just a man, he's not immortal. It's an end, but they kept the essence of the character. This is Batman to me.

Our end, from what I have read is totally different. Yes, his death is fake but it seems like it's because he's someone who chose to have a normal life. That why, I asked, (it was a question) if you think Bruce will be back to Gotham and decide to train Blake. That's what I want to know.

People are complaint about the ending but isn't it kinda similar to knight fall?

If you told me that I wouldn't care.Cause that was Schumacher...this is Nolan.
I've been saying there's more to Blake for months, glad to see there's conformation now.I can't wait to see how this all plays out in the end with ''Rise'' playing in the background.

Okay, that is true, so I'll stop complaining. Nolan is a genius so I figure that he will make the last 10/15 minutes beautiful.

This basically confirms that the whole of Gotham find out Batman's identity then?

Nope, because back there Bruce was dragged away screaming from the Batman suit, chose an heir that went insane and eventually came back because it's the life he wants.

**** back problems.

But yeah. I'll just wait and hope for Nolan to pleasantly surprise me. But that will be difficult since I detest the very idea the ending is based on. Still.

Would it be possible for someone to summarise the spoilers we know of so reading through 900 posts can be avoided?

HA! good luck. There are so many conflicting opinions on here that it's really hard to tell what's true and what isn't. I considered asking the same, but realised it would be pointless.

Looks like the spoilers I had were true all along. Blake takes over (as Batman or new identity), and Bruce leaves Gotham for Italy with Selina to live the life Alfred always wanted him to have. Gotham is destroyed and plans to rebuild stronger than before.

and to think TheShape emoticon vomited at me when I brought these up. Shame on you.

Because
even the way you just attempted to explain it sounds wrong and horrible.

Well...

I think we can all agree Bruce wasn't exactly "strong" before his journey began and he had training. In fact, he was *this* close to using a gun in BB like a big *****.

I have a question Shape, in your opinion after viewing the film,
is a seemingly 'happier ever after' ending between Bruce/Selina earned? I mean, at this point I think we all know that Bruce's main love interest in the movie is Tatelia--up to an including that sensual scene, so I'm wondering if the bit in the cafe is earned (beyond Bruce's need to escape and Alfred's wishes for him) do you feel the end is meant to be romantic for them, and it works in your opinion, or it's only intended as a means for them both to escape and get a fresh start away without assuming the end means they are indeed romantically linked. If that makes sense.

Shape,

You can keep saying that all you want, but eloquent wording does not change the basic facts of the ending, which is what he posted and what people are having a hard time with. No matter how these specific events are presented on screen, it is still THESE specific events.

Definitely. Nothing about the ending is overly romantic or even close to being "mushy", but everything is earned.

For some reason, All this reminds me of the X-Men 3 hype, when everyone found out that Cyclops was gonna die having very little screentime. The two X3 writers were on a message board answering questions during the entire hype phase, trying to calm down fans who were pissed. They kept telling people that they'd be satisfied with Cyclops' portrayal.

The way Cyclops was portrayed in the finished product was pretty much exactly how it was described on paper.

One thing that puzzles me...

...about Selina riding in on the Batpod and shooting Bane. Where is she during the Miranda Tate reveal (which presumably takes place after Bane is put down inside) that takes place inside before she and the rest of the LoS march out to the tumblers. She then presumably rides out on the Pod and down the steps to give chase.

Then don't see it. Your loss lol

Are you kidding me? The fact that you even brought that up boggles my mind...

The two films are in no way comparable, nor is anything IN or ABOUT them. I'm shocked and confused at how you would even draw that comparison.

Question for Shape.

Is Miranda Tate's fate at the end of the film implied or clearly stated, be it death or escape, etc?

Cool, d00d.

I mean...if that's all you took from what I just said, be free to overreact and be hyperbolic about that.

My main point is exactly what someone else said: you can word things in all sorts of ways, but a cigar is still a cigar.

I get that you want people to keep an open mind. But the facts are the facts, and thats what some have a problem with.
