lol this is hilarious. I've just praised the trailer, it's great. Yet i say it looks like the fight choreography hasn't improved, which i find disappointing, yet i explicitly said i am not writing it off based on a couple of quick glimpses in a trailer.

And i'm a "marvelite"? Listen, the Marvel vs DC thing is for children. The idea that i'm a "marvelite" because i have DARED to put forward some criticism speaks volumes not of me, but of you. Well played, you've made yourself look like an idiot.

Batman is my favourite comic book character, i'm criticising not because i hate DC or Batman or Nolan, i'm criticising because these are the things i want to see in a Batman movie. And it's not as though i'm just saying "Herp derp the fight scenes suck!" then running off. I'm going into detail of what i dislike about them, i'm saying how i think they can be improved. Call me a troll if you want, i'm offering a more insightful conversation than some of you who simply fawn over the greatness of Nolan like a bunch of cultists.

Wait you guys didnt hear? Their scrapping IMAX and showing the whole thing to us on Senorgif.com. Youll be able to analyze every micro fraction of every fight, mouth movement, youll be able to see all the CGI in super super slow motion...oh but you wont be able to hear any talking..but itl be TOTALLY worth it cuz we will all be able to just piss all over any and every aspect we find unacceptable. Because the moves don't look like they'd hurt. It looks fake, staged. Although the kick/leg choke thing Catwoman does is cool.

The spinning punch Bane does, when seen in a gif, is laughable. You can clearly see he's about a foot away from making any contact with Batman.

And Black Widow really got that guy in the face with her hair whip in that pre-release clip. People got all pissed off about that, didn't they?

I won't post it because it isn't the thread for it, but look for it on youtube. Notice the guy who has a shotgun to Batmans head for a good few seconds, but stands there and waits for Batman to turn around and take it from him. Also notice how Lau falls over before Batman gets anywhere near him with his attack. Also none of Batmans attacks would feasibly put someone out of commission. Let's see Bats snapping some arms, knocking people out cold. Not just elbowing them in the shoulder or kicking them in the shins.

It's fundamentally poor fight choreography and stuntwork. It's so bad i'm genuinely surprised it made it out of the editing room.

I'd like to see to the difference with another big action film say The Avengers for example since you seem to be an expert. Is TDK that bad comparing to other blockbusters?
Because the only clip from the Avengers that I saw was with Black Widow fighting and you could clearly see that she wasn't even touching the guy.

I have my criticisms of Avengers, i'll readily admit them right here right now. I'm not one of these who blindly worships at the alter of a man i've never met before.

Because the only clip from the Avengers that I saw was with Black Widow fighting and you could clearly see that she wasn't even touching the guy.

That Black Widow fight was bad. But the moment you're talking about, the head butt? It was meant to be her hair hitting the guy in the eyes. But yea i didn't like that fight scene.

But the Black Widow vs Hawkeye fight is much better.

This much I know. "The Amazing Spiderman" looks bad. I think it may be the flop of the Summer.

Nolan has gained a huge following for his Batman films. So with that said I still say TDKR will be the Summer box office champ.

Well played. I mean, i didn't come in here for an argument. For ****s sake i PRAISED the trailer. But i say something negative, not in a trollish way, but in a constructive way, and all hell breaks loose.
