Know I'm late to the party, but the character posters lookv awesome!!

the one's with the vehicles and the blue....ehhh not so much, but I love the dark one's. so are those available in the UK then? I'll definately be looking to pick one of them (or all three :p) up.

On Youtube, TDKR trailer 3 already has close to 17 million views in 3 weeks. Compare that to The Amazing Spiderman, well it only has 7 million views for a trailer that came out 3 months ago on Youtube. Also, TDKR was #1 searched movie on Google+ and it was treading on Twitter for awhile this week. So, I think people knows about TDKR.
Yep. A lot of people here seem to think that awareness for TDKR dosn't exist outside of the internet, which is absurd. A girl I know, who I almost had to force to watch Batman Begins with me was telling me about how she saw Hathaway or her stunt double accidentally destroying an IMAX camera. SO I wouldn't worry too much.

Not that I particularly care about box office numbers or comparing it to the Avengers. TDKR is not the Avengers, Avengers is a movie that's far easier to promote with McDonald's toys and the like.

:argh:

It's Pfeiffer-Pfan. I'm a Pfan of Michelle Pfeiffer and... I'm a guy, AnneFan. :funny:

:woot:

What does 'Pfan' mean? Also, you're a guy? Wow! I thought that was you in the avvy.

EDIT: Ugh. Nevermind, that's lovely Michelle in the avvy

I don't think the
Wall Street fight
is the end fight is it? I thought we got told the last 20 minutes (or something like that) was almost completely CGI?

Also regarding the timeline. BB took place in 2005 (I'm guessing early 2005), TDK takes place 6 months later and TDKR takes place 8 years later so 2013 on the paper makes sense. Anyone know the time span this film takes over? If they are planning for Bane to occupy Gotham it must take place over at least a year.

Not the last 20 minutes, the last scene or something.

The source of that allegation was this guy (CGI ending):

What he has to do with anything or how he would know is unknown.

I honestly don't see the difference? The movie may be darker than the normal summer popcorn movie, but they're still comic book characters that kids know and love. I remembered they were promoting the Burton movies back then in the similar manner, and the Burton flicks were pretty dark.

Judging by some of his earlier tweets he worked on the film. He also said he got some inside information on the technical and plot aspects of the film. I'm guessing he was a sound recordist or something in that area.

There's actually a timestamp on the security camera shot of the Joker which says the release date of the film (July 18 '08 i think?) so that means BB was set a little in the future. Probably not intentionally at the time, but it works out fine. Then that puts TDKR in 2016 (or beginning in 2016, we don't know how much time the film spans).

Yeah, but it's not 1989 anymore. I assume WB don't want to show their hand too early and get people burnt out on TDKR and feel like they've seen the movie already.

LOL sorry. Will you forgive me?

Never... you have wounded my masculine pride. :oldrazz:

Fans of Michelle Pfeiffer call themselves Pfans... as a spin on her surname, based on pronounciation. GaGa has her little monsters, Michelle has her Pfans.

Nobody said we were proud of it. :o

I don't get how does getting their current material out to the masses is giving the movie away?

I'm sorry, but as a pfan, you should be ashamed to use Michelle and Gaga in the same sentence.

It seems it won't make any difference, but I'll now proceed to punish myself to make up for it. Think Jim Carrey in the toilets in Liar Liar.

Heh heh. That's pretty creative. Nice!

Michelle Pfeiffer attended a Lady GaGa concert and said she liked her very much...

So I think not. :woot:

He's also partly responsible for the creation of The Bat.

I don't know where you're getting that from. I've read most of his tweets. He says he has contacts that tell him things. And...
