That wouldn't be very satisfying. I think that while Bane may succeed with part of his mission, he will also bring about his own downfall.

unsatisfying if Bane is the real bad guy...If Talia is responsible for Bats unintentionally killing Bane...that could be interesting.

Yeah, I don't think we'll get full-on Azrael. He is a bit too Iron Man-ish. But do you remember the rumors that JGL was some sort of JPV substitute character?That's really what I was referring to.

Oh, I know. I honestly think Blake is just a normal cop: the guy who changes his mind and understand that Batman was trying to do good with Gotham. And starts a movement... as we should call it, Sons of Batman.

I'm not expecting the makeup and actual devotion to Batman's shadow, but the idea that they're FINALLY on the same side now. I do believe TDKR is an influence for the film, in many cases. This one in particular; after seeing the trailer and set shots of the police fighting with Batman's side, and people drawing little chalk white bats around Gotham... to me, it's pretty self explanatory.

*shrugs* Who knows: but I do know 2 things, or at least my theories are proving to be correct.

1.) It's my guess that Selina Kyle is sent inside prison as a diversion: to help Bane with his movement and be an inside help to let everyone in Blackgate free. Very much as it was in the beginning of Knightfall where Bane busted open Arkham and the Joker took control of letting everyone else out free.

2.) She might shoot some one... but I'm thinking it's the same awesome violent factor similar to the magic pencil trick: it was reported awhile back that in some of the fight sequences (my guessing the one in the second trailer) Catwoman fights brutally and jams a pistol into a guy's eye socket. Rumor has it Anne was really into it and accidentally bruised the poor man's eye in the fight.

I'm not sure anyone dies. Or that they even need to die. That's not Nolan's style. He likes to bind things up into a nice package.

That's why I keep going back to Batman Begins. "Why do we fall down?", "So we can pick ourselves back up." Hince The Dark Knight Rises. That is more Nolan's cup of tea.

I was never particularly fond of the TDK posters, really. Especially the fact that Batman's holding a Batarang, which you never actually see in the movie. With the exception of the third poster, I much prefer TDKR's posters.

The new posters are all very UNinspired, dull and boring (especially take a look at the one with catwoman standing next to the bat-pod. It really does look like a ****** photoshop manip). Some of you guys have made fan-posters that looks tons better and more stylish then the official new ones. WB should've taken notice to them! These new officials doesn't seem to fit in with the awesome epicness of the trailers and the overall gigantic scope of the 'Rises' picture... Thankfully, no poster will make for a lesser good movie, so in the end I don't care! It's just a bit irritating, seeing how they could've easily been so incredibly much better (and we all know it).

PS: That banner above, from 'TDK', where batman holds a bat-a-rang, doesn't look good either! That, and also the poster where batman is seen on the bat-pod flying out of a window, is SO Joel Schuemacher! ESPECIALLY when that didn't even ****ing happen in the movie! Eeeeew, can't_have_it!

Not in this take on the character. He clearly stated "I'm not an executionner". Because he knows he encouters too much danger to always avoid the death of his enemies. this is an important nuance IMO.

Yup, that's what I'm going by for this Batman, too. "No executioner", not "no killer".

Which reminds of the TIH hype a while back. When people heard that the Hulk would be given a backstory in which he would've accidentally killed a couple of people in the lab during his 1st hulkout, there was a major uproar. Now, maybe it's because I don't know the comics, but isn't the point of the Hulk that he's a danger to people? How do you convey that if you have non-kills and just injuries?
