I feel like the editing might be purposefully misleading. They way I intepreted it was...

Bruce: "I need something to drive. Like the Tumbler"
Lucius: "Remember where you parked it?" (as in, I gave you a vehicle and you blew it up)

Bruce's reaction makes more sense to me that way, and Lucius' tone.

It very much well could be. I wouldn't normally believe my idea if I didn't know how the police chase ends.

With some of the photos I've seen, it looks like it's been more proportioned to Bale's body, and gives off a more sleek armor look... instead of looking not so malleable.

Well with that Empire cover I can definitely see the change in the neck.
It looks great.

Anyone else compare Anne's bum in that shot to the cgi standee? :hehe:

Seriously though, that shot of ****ING BATMAN on that cover is SO GOOD. I need to lie down

Anne's tush is perfect by itself!!!! :argh:

The Lambo theft could be a factor that wakes him up. Given his mental state he mightn't really care as much if others are robbed per se, but if it affects him directly its another thing altogether. You feel violated, and the smooth sailing of nothing is interrupted. Because remember, this will be a person who for a good while shelters themselves away at Wayne Manor, with nothing but his thoughts, and probably not interacting with people aside from Alfred. It might to go, hey man, its on!

Is it just me or does the Batcave give a big nostalgia from the Burton verse Batcave?

One thing that irked me slightly (and you probably thought about it too)...

"Your wife said you were taking a cab home"

The wife of Bruce Wayne, prince of Gotham? Known by Joe Public as the playboy billionaire who burnt down his own mansion? As expressed in Batman Begins, you'd have to go miles to know somebody who didn't know his name.

Yet this guy seems convinced that Bruce Wayne has a wife? Did she say she was the wife of Bruce Wayne (surely that's the only way he could have recognised Bruce as he was leaving). Would you not think "I didn't hear about a wedding". Unless they came in togther, which they don't. And this guy hands over a car that is worth more than his home to a random stranger, just because she says she's married to Bruce Wayne.

That guy needs to be fired. We need another scene where Bruce reveals that he pays that guys salary. "Oh, you should be able get it back. I own you."

This, however, might highlight something interesting. In the 8 years has Bruce given up on 'keeping up appearances'? Is this why someone like Miranda Tate (rumoured to be Talia Al Ghul) is able to infiltrate Wayne Enterprises, as Bruce isn't paying attention anymore (we can assume he doesn't have her vetted like Lau)? Maybe he has become such as social recluse that people have forgotten about him. But then why would he turn up at a Gala...

my brain hurts.

Those television spots are so much better than the trailers. Even more hyped to see this now. Batman and Catwoman's relationship in this film comes across as a game of cat & mouse. No pun intended.

I like how we hear a bit of Bane's football field speech, sounds much better than the youtube clip from a while back!

Bruce has not been seen or heard from in social or media circles apparently. For all they know he's had a shotgun wedding in Vegas.

Well it's been years he's been seen on the public eye.

So, what do you guys think Bane is surprised by in the 2nd TV Spot? Does he see Talia? Or did he get fired from his office job?

Theres no point trying to figure out minute story details from dialogue from these tv spots, as they have been chopped up to hell.

We already know the line in the stadium is likely chopped because we know the original line is "gotham, this is the instrument of your liberation"

I've done dumber things at my job, it's not in the realm of impossibility that the valet wouldn't know because he just doesn't care, he's probably more concerned with making rent for the month.

IMO.

Do you propose us to log out and wait until July, then? :oldrazz:

lolz - you've never dealt with schmuck employees who do stupid things, have you? You gotta remember - Bruce Wayne is kind of the "Snooki" of Gotham.

Sure - he's well know by a lot of people - but I'm sure there's enough people who honestly don't give 2 craps about his life.

Also - just pointing out the whole valet thing....

"Nice car"
"You should see my other one."

FULL O

This is a man who walks in a hotel and comes out it's owner, he's rich, famous and careless, who's to say the guy isn't above getting hitched with some bimbo at a party (bruce could find a way) , it's not out of the question for silly ol bruce wayne.

Something's off in the audio edit between the "this city needs me" and "I need you to help me get back in the game". I'm thinking those were said at different scenes.
