I don't care about the baggage people think will follow them from HAN SOLO, given what we have seen of Ezra so far Lord and Miller spot on perfect for this character. WB should lock them down ASAP. Get this project moving.

Eh... They are uniquely placed to get this thing rolling and hit the ground running (no pun) ASAP. Having done preliminary work already they have a more developed perspective. They have a good track record, the Han Solo stuff notwithstanding. Flash is such an important DC character and it would be a great shot in the arm to continue with the success of WW and hear that the Flash film is a go. Plus my gut tells me Ezra's Barry is gonna be a break out character in JL. They need to capitalize on that sooner than later.

Seeing Ezra in JL in the trailer but also seeing his other appearances in Suicide Squad and BVS as Barry Allen/The Flash I am even more excited for a potential solo film...hell The Flash deserves his own solo at this point and if we get it I just hope they follow the WW model and give us a good story for his solo origin film

I think everything is on hold until there is a director: the script, what villains will be in it, who the supporting characters are, and then who all is getting cast. The only thing fairly certain at this point is Ezra Miller will be Flash.

Also that Iris West has been cast and same with Billy Crudup's character of Henry Allen I am sure they will be in the solo film too

I'm really starting to hate how Flashpoint has become the "main" Flash story. It's gotten its own animated movie, a major focus in season 3 of the tv show, now this...

Flash has other stories. Get over Flashpoint, DC.
