Infinity War doesnt seem special?

I mean Im not saying it'll for sure be great or even good but for damn sure will be special just in term of scope alone. Come on what is that? "Doesn't look that special?" What?

That's some real debbie downer type stuff to me
It's like it's all becoming routine now. There's nothing really all that special going forward anymore, even Infinity Wars isn't looking all that special. The new car smell has well and truly worn off.
Given the amount of bloat AoU suffered from it's hard not to be skeptical towards Infinity War. Granted it's going to take part over two films but at the end of the day the Avengers are once again more than likely going to share equal screen time with no-one leading the movie. The problem with these films is there's so much emphasis on everyone getting their moment in the spotlight that no-one is actually driving the films narrative which means the films are painted with broad strokes. It's hard to see anything different happening with Infinity War especially when there's going to be even more characters involved. So colour me sceptical toward Infinity War bringing anything new to the table, or even being anything that special.

Well than it sounds like Captain America - Civil War is probably the Avengers movie you want....
I actually think it will be because at least there's going to be a focal point. I think the issue that I've come away with after AoU is there's actually very little you can do in these team up films unless you have someone be the backbone of the movie. I personally don't think there's anything wrong with characters taking turns at being the lead in a different team up film because that means you can up the stakes, by treating everyone equally all you're doing is watering down the entire story. Yes, the argument is that's what the solo films are for, but that doesn't mean someone can't still be the focal point of a team up film, otherwise the team up film becomes nothing more than a glorified highlights package, a concept that never lives up to its potential because it's trying to please everyone and give everyone a trophy.

To be fair, we've seen Marvel's take
on the large ensemble pieces twice, both times from the same director. Nothing against Joss or AOU, but there are a few similarities there. Personally I enjoyed seeing the team fully functional in AOU.
Civil War and Infinity War will benefit not only from having a fresh set of directors, but also because the premise of each is so radically different. Hero vs. hero and a two part cosmic epic. The new facets will breathe life into the ensemble format.
So stop watching them JMC. God damn you are always complaining about something I swear haha. Aww infinity wars aren't gonna be special enough for little JMC. Good god so don't bother with any of it anymore. You apparently have so many problems with the MCU now or the films why do you continue to watch? Just to keep complaining?

In which case I'm probably right in being sceptical for Infinity War not being able to do anything different, because ultimately if it's only ever going to be about the team and everyone being given equal screen time then the same beats are going to be repeated over and over again. We've already seen with Age of Ultron there's repetitiveness. Basically the formula wears thin after a while.
Which is weird considering this is a newly produced trailer (I assume?). And yet they have all this dialogue from what I'm guessing is the earlier long cut of the film.
Dude, if the Avengers end up on Asgard fighting Thanos I don't care what else happens, I drool lots of milky drool now
Holy **** that sounds amazing.
The reason why I like Thor movies more than Iron Man movies is because of Asgard. It is jaw dropping. Thor movies have better scenery than any other marvel movie, the only movie that comes close is Guardians of the Galaxy.
