first i was a bit underwhelmed due to the fact that suits from nolan and arkham verse was stuck in my head. But now I am warming up to the suit.

you can clearly tell, even not in motion, the the cowl (inncluding neck) is hard rubber
granted they'll probably just CGI a head onto him the way they did Supes cape

I appreciate it's comic accuracy
but still, it looks very stifling and uncomfortable
I don't care for the armor from the nolan suits, but at least it seemed like someone could actually fight in it

sorry, anyway, I only wanted to throw it out there once because I knew I'd be shouted down on the Bat boards, so the condescension is unnecessary.

Spidey's always been on the money for me since the 1st film. And most of the Batman costumes have been cool apart from the excesses of the Schumacher ones. Cap's has seen the biggest improvement of any comic character I can think of from Avengers to Cap 2. That is only for scenes including the cowl, without looked fine in Avengers.

Damn that would be huge. I think the domestic figures and trajectory for TASM2 have Sony spooked for now and in their hands the value of the rights might now finally be worth more than they can make out of them without taking a lot of risks. Who is that guy anyway? Someone who would know?

I think super hero suits are pretty easy to get right. The challenge is the casting and bringing the character to life in an exceptional way.

I think it's not that difficult to get long established characters like Superman & Batman right but any new guy with an exotic costume has plenty of risk of hitting the wrong notes. I certainly think they could have mucked up on Thor and that Wonder Woman could be challenging for eg.

Smart move. Max Landis knowing about something so huge doesn't make much sense. It'll be interesting to see if anyone actually connected to the deal makes a comment, though.
