LoL peripherals my ass, he wasn't looking at all.

And I don't care about you and your friends having skeet matches with each other.

But I'm saying. if a relatively untrained person in the real world can shoot at a moving target and hit it without looking....

why is it hard to believe the greatest marksman on earth in a comic movie can?

If you're talking about that final battle, one thing to also possibly take into account, he's on a rooftop, in a city with a lot of tall buildings, buildings that tend to have a lot of windows/reflective surfaces. Just because he didn't turn his head to look head on at his target doesn't mean he couldn't see it at all. (if that makes sense)

Agree with this as well.

Probably not that many. This thread moves really slowly for such a popular film. The main BvS thread is on Part 65 for comparison ( a bit too fast to keep up with conversations actually). And other single hero forums seem busier at a comparable time before release. I have no idea why given Avengers 1 is obviously the most watched film of them all up till now.
there's actually an explanation for this phenomenon. while BvS fans focus on that movie alone, the attention of TA/MCU fans is spread across all movies/tv shows in the MCU, so we see less action here. if you add the activities on the IM, CAP, THOR, ANT-MAN, GOTG, AoS, AC, DD etc. threads it is pretty even

Yup. Plus, there are non-MCU Marvel properties, which further thins the herd towards the X-boards, Spidey-boards, and FF-boards.

Wait, scratch that last one. That mainly consists of group therapy sessions for MCU fans (myself included) wanting to convince ourselves that Fox is shooting a fake movie and/or demanding that Fox return the FF rights to its rightful owner. :)

From the actual scenes that we have seen being shot, it will be a mixture of both, a beginning scene like in the first movie but not half as long.

My prediction: AOU will start with the
Strucker castle-fight and the (first) recruiting/freeing of the twins. I mean, like, there's really no doubt about that. We've seen these scenes being shot in Italy, including a jet that is most likely the quinjet fetch Hawkeye and at least Scarlet Witch with some prisoners at one point. And Renner has his old costume on in there, indicating, Clint has been mostly busy with this twins mission in the last two years, instead of inventing fancy new suits with Stark.

They also shot another scene with Renner and the twins in Italy, where he has a new suit on. And only in these scenes we saw Quicksilver in his shiny new blue duds (and blond colored, short hair as opposed to the Cap2 post credit scene)
. That second scene will most probably be much later in the movie.

What I'm saying is: It's quite probable, that thing with the
Strucker castle
will probably come to Tony's ears (in his function as
both the funder of the Avengers as confirmed, and the funder of this private world security thing
. Bruce can easily be still in the tower, like in Iron Man 3.

I'm guessing when Tony hears of this, he'll call Steve who hopefully for continuity matters is still on the run with Sam to search Bucky. Same with Natasha who's gone off under the radar at the end of Cap2, but during Maria's phone call in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., she indicated that she (and with her Stark) knows where Natasha is.

So I think, Tony will kind of call them together for a new mission to help Hawkeye out here and go fetch the twins, but it will be very brief. That scene will serve both to explain/remind the people where Steve and Nat are at that time and to show the people this whole Avengers-funded-by-Tony-thing, which is already set up at this time. And it clearly is, as a bunch of reporters have been invited to the set lately to see, among other things,
the Avengers quarters in the ex-Stark-Tower
. And we've already seen Tony set these up in the end of the first movies.

So that's my speculation for the beginning of the movie and I'd be very surprised if I'm wrong :D.

It would be funny if The Avengers all lived in the tower when the movie starts and they have breakfast together, then get a call from Fury and go on the first mission.

Downey greets the fan again, this time a better photo than in my first article on the hereby-doomed-site...

Who knows, maybe. I thought the people in those places would also drop into the forum that combines the whole thing every now and then.

We need a fireman's pole installed for them all to slide down one by one.

I am desperately trying to fight the image of Robert Downey Jr, Jeremy Renner and Scarlett Johansson in Adam West & Co spandex.

I am scarred for life. Thank you, Iceman.

I'm waiting to see how it's written, personally. Honestly, I can see the pros/cons of both ideas. I think I might actually lean toward the Godfather II approach, that they've already been working together for some time and have developed a rapport. Then again, I think I'm mostly interested in getting right to the team dymanics and seeing the friendships pan out.

Part of the intrigue is in "how" they come back together. It's not like the first movie depicted them exchanged phone numbers at the end or how to get to Thor on Asgard. They all went their own ways. Speaking of Thor, we saw in the end-credits he went back to Earth but it's not known whether he reached out to the others.

For me personally if I see them already together on a mission, it'll back track on Fury's comments at the end …. almost glossing over it.

^^ Ya know its entirely plausible that they all kept in touch after Tony redesigned Stark Tower into Avengers Tower with a customized floor for each member. Just because they went their separate ways years earlier doesnt mean they never spoke again. Also, after SHIELD/HYDRAs implosion, that would be the time Tony and Cap would reach out to the others to figure out their next move as a team without SHIELD. That whole situation is probably the main catalyst that kicks off AOU anyway.

What I'm saying a page ago *G* But apparently my long analyses are too exhausting too read :D

At the end of TWS, BW talked about how they are the best defense and "You know where to find me" which I assumed meant Avengers tower...since SHIELD is gone... also Maria Hill is working for Stark and Banner was hanging out with Tony at the end of IM3 and they rode off together after Avengers. Cap and BW are bros as well as BW and Hawkeye.

The only person that needs to have explanation for rejoining is Thor...and he is already on Earth
