Really fantastic fan-made trailer

Fixed for ya. You only put the characters after "v=" in the URL.
And yeah, that's actually a solid fan-teaser.
I think it's interesting that some posters have mentioned a Howard Stark connection to Ultron. Perhaps H Stark created Ultron in the 50's or early 60's as a defense against those damn Commies! Maybe even made him out of Vibranium and used H Stark's brainwaves. Now, for some reason, Ultron was put on mothballs (maybe the technology didn't exist to make it work)
But now Ultron is activated and, for whatever reason, H Stark's brainwaves turn evil. So Ultron, instead of seeing himself as Hank Pym's son, now sees himself as Tony Stark's father (and possibly Pepper's father in law). This would be a twist on the whole Oedipus complex. Ultron would also have a direct connection to Cap as well.
Sure it won't happen. Just an idea
I find it really funny how my entire point just flew over your headOh the joys of setting people up without them knowing.
Does anyone not see the irony here?

Actually guys ..... I think Ultron will be born from the brainwaves of an archeologist who was obsessed with tyrants and rulers from the past.

Avengers 4: The Kang Dynasty, make it happen Marvel.
Ooh, this is fun! =DHonestly, it's a little under explained. The best answer we every got was that because Ultron's personality is based off of Pym's brain scans, he inherited his creator's mental illness and that made him evil. How being bipolar and having a poor self image makes him want to exterminate the human race isn't very clear. I mean, it's not like Pym wants to do those things.
The best possible explanation for that that I can think of is that Ultron came into existence with adult levels of intelligence and Pym's mood swings and poor self image, but no experiences or emotional framework to put those terrible feelings into context. Basically the first thing he ever felt was depression and extreme self loathing without any kind of context for that or any kind of happy memories or positive things in his life to balance that out. So, he immediately resented his creator for making him such a flawed being and burdening him with awful feelings he couldn't understand and promptly set out to do whatever he could to punish his father for it. And ultimately he decided that murdering as many people as possible and making Pym and all of Pym's loved ones watch was the best punishment imaginable.
Ooh, this is fun! =D
I like your take on things, but I've always interpreted Ultron's hatred as coming from seeing how pathetic Pym, with his self-esteem issues, is, rather than having inherited anything from his creator. In fact, I think Ultron simply has a major superiority complex, opposing Hank's inferiority complex, which creates a pretty interesting dynamic between the two (on top of the ol' Oedipus Complex). Anyway, back to the hatred...I think Ultron generalised his feelings towards Pym onto the human species as a whole, and this is (plus his superiority complex) is what fuels his desire to replace humans with superior beings like himself.
But with a better design i hopeSo, I just realized that Ultron will probably be written a lot like Adam from season four of Buffy.
Maybe Ultron isn't just Starks creation, but the Avengers creation....
Tony bringing his ingenuity,
with the team deciding to use Captain America's brainwaves because of his excellent moral and ethical code.
Banner designs the brain network, he basically wants Ultron to be a weapon that he can control!
Thor brings some Asgardian magic or he can just hammer the vibranium into place lol,
Basically its the team that decide to create Ultron, a 24hour a day, 7 days week, ultimate law enforcement machine, who can think, reason and make judgement calls. His suppose to be a prototype, something that the Avengers can offer the world as the perfection of protection.
So when he goes bad, its really on them as a team and not just Tony's mistake!
So essentially the film would be a lot of interaction between the team while they assemble the villain.
This post is the epitome of tl;dr. You were supposed to respond with "What, exactly, flew over my head?" and leave it at that. Now I have no motivation to explain what went over your head because you've essentially messed up the whole thing by creating your own version of what I meant. You are somethin' else sam. What, exactly, flew over my head? "zomg, Hank Pym had a really stupid reason for developing Ultron in the 1960s comics, so it's okay for Joss Whedon to have a really stupid reason for Tony Stark to develop Ultron in the MCU!" Is *that* what you're seriously on about?
Before you throw your arm out trying to pat yourself on the back for being a clever boy, understand this: No one was ever suggesting that Pym's creation of Ultron would go exactly by the book. Least of all me. We all know full well that concessions have to be made for the medium, for the era we live in, for the new and broader demographic of the audience.
The only thing I've asked for is an authentic Ultron, not just a killer robot. The Pym-Ultron dysfunctional (on both ends) relationship is what has always driven *both* characters in the Avengers comic, and Joss fails to recognize that. You *don't* get that same dynamic by plugging Tony Stark into the equation. Or Arnim Zola, for that matter.
The only thing the Stark As Creator theory has going for it is the "how" in Ultron's assembly. Nobody has put forth a legitimate argument about the "why." All we're seeing in the Stark speculation is just Killer Robot 101, sans the psychodrama, inexplicably and allegedly created by a man who has sworn off the manufacture of things that kill for a government that he utterly despises.

I don't want Ultron to look like an Iron Man armor. He needs to look unique.
