Or you could just base the fight around this:

A healthy medium where you show Batman as the master tactician, while at the same time, showing that his human limitations is what stops him from beating Superman. Furthermore, you can show how Clark does not mean to harm a human by holding back (yes, I know he was under hypnosis but I'm ignoring that in context of BvS's potential fight).

As Hush showed, you can create a fight without requiring an armor, because armor is going to screw Batman over harder considering Superman's punches will dent/break the metal, which in turn is going to hurt Bruce even more than if he just had the suit.

It doesn't NEED to be biased like you're suggesting.

The reason the fight worked in Hush was because of its sense of character. Without the narration, it would have been yet another one-sided "vs" fight.

I hate to be that blunt, but I don't think Superman CAN look cool if being walloped by Batman in a normal suit. The Robo suit provides an element of 'danger' to Superman.

Ignore the superspeed and compare this

If Batman does his homework, and he does since he's Batman, there should be no fight. Why would Batman fight someone that he clearly knows is no threat? It should be like Justice League War, when maybe Superman perceives Batman as a threat, but Batman diffuses the situation by revealing he knows Clark's secret, and he knows he doesn't kill. Well... thinking to back to the whole neck break moment, that might maybe not work in this Movie.

That's just it. No it wouldn't. No suit of armor would either protect Batman or even be a credible threat to Superman in any way. An armored suit would be eminently pointless in such a fight.

If the arena was rigged with tricks flowing one after the other, with Superman weakened along the way, an armoured suit would have some degree of benefit. Not sure how much, but I'd rather wear it than not.

I just wonder how a fight in which batman is wearing huge armor, superman is weakened and the environment is rigged could even be interesting. What is the purpose of that? Just to show batman punching superman for anyone who's into that? Plot wise, it seems pointless.

Which looks sillier?

If that atmosphere changing thingy from MOS was used, an armoured suit would tip the odds. Obviously a regulation head to head would make armour irrelevant.

Truth. He would obviously own him if he didn't have his powers.

What if the armor isn't for fighting Superman?

Bingo

It would be pointless to people who know and care about the backstory (namely, fans) but general audience wise they would eat it up. Which means the filmmakers probably lean towards having it in there.

If there is anyone who should fight Superman in a specific armor, it should be Lex. That has always been his thing. Lex's science and tech have always been superior to Batman's. Batman's main strengths intelligence-wise are his detective skills and tactical/strategic skills.

I've yet to see this depicted properly on screen. It's truly the most important thing I've been waiting for. Hopefully people on the production feel the same way

I think it's a given that of for fighting Superman, measures would have to be planned to weaken Supes quite a bit before physical contact.

That's always it. First you have to utterly weaken Superman. Then you have to write everything in Batman's favor and have Clark basically trip over his feet. And you need Clark to hold back all the time, instead of having him peel the armor off Batman like a Banana.

That's why I don't want a fight at all.

^ What I saw of the suit looked cool though.

Well there it is. I think it's too soon for concept art, but cool nonetheless.

That's my hope if there is armor.

It's really the only thing that makes sense for the use of it. Like Batman just happens to have some super powered suit in the cave that he thought he may need on certain occasions. Much like the special tools and weapons he has, but doesn't carry around with him all the time.

As I said in the "Will they fight?" or whatever it's called thread, there's no real reason for them to fight outside of mind control unless they're both idiots and/or immature.

no it's fanmade but a cool addendum to all the different suit concepts
thanks woody for editing

That's why I want the armor. It's silly, but if he tries to carefully take Batman's REGULAR outfit off..the best outcome results in what amounts to a Buttman, if you know what I mean :cwink:

Burning a tiny crack in giant robo gauntlets and GENTLY pulling away at them would be a neat display of both power AND restraint.

^ I see it this way: With the Mutant Leader it was important that Batman be a horrific symbol. A mere man, so to speak. Someone who fights using (more or less) skill alone. Notice he doesn't throw Batarangs or Batbombs ay the Mutant Leader. Such tactics would make him come across as a coward or worse, physically incapable.

In regards Superman, TDKR Batman doesn't care about impressing his opponent or anyone. Bruce just wants to beat the snot out of him as effectively as possible.
