Agree. It definitely looks like there could be some exoskeleton elements, shifting elements for better mobility, it's probably made of light materials. With so much functionality and tech, obviously, it would look "over-complicated".While I'm not saying that Bruce should go full on "Iron Man" route, I do think that if the character is going to don a suit that has several armor pieces attached to it for protection, he should have some parts of it mechanized so that he doesn't have to worry about having to carry the entire weight of the armor himself.
Like Iron Man, like Robocop arguments are very narrow-minded and lack objective criteria. I like... I don't like... Batman can't have an advanced tech. armor? Is he destined to wear tight grey cloth till the end of time? The new armor definitely has a purpose. A lot of practical elements and details. Looks menacing and retains the famous silhouette. Is it aesthetically pleasing? Depends on who you ask. I, personally, haven't seen a perfect bat-suit yet. And I strongly doubt there can be one.
