While I'm not saying that Bruce should go full on "Iron Man" route, I do think that if the character is going to don a suit that has several armor pieces attached to it for protection, he should have some parts of it mechanized so that he doesn't have to worry about having to carry the entire weight of the armor himself.

Agree. It definitely looks like there could be some exoskeleton elements, shifting elements for better mobility, it's probably made of light materials. With so much functionality and tech, obviously, it would look "over-complicated".

Like Iron Man, like Robocop arguments are very narrow-minded and lack objective criteria. I like... I don't like... Batman can't have an advanced tech. armor? Is he destined to wear tight grey cloth till the end of time? The new armor definitely has a purpose. A lot of practical elements and details. Looks menacing and retains the famous silhouette. Is it aesthetically pleasing? Depends on who you ask. I, personally, haven't seen a perfect bat-suit yet. And I strongly doubt there can be one.

The fact that they went fabric mixed with armor makes this look disgusting. Either go all armor or all fabric, there can't be a mix between the two that results in a good look. The game looks amazing however and I'll definitely buy it, but there better be other skins to choose from before I play through it the first time.

I think it's just a design issue rather than all armor versus all fabric. If they had something like the Tron: Legacy suits, I think it'd look better. Less of a puzzle/plate look.

The new Arkham suit is waaaaaaaay too shiny. How would Batman hide in the shadows in a suit like that?

Surely if you're in the shadows...it presumes there's no light to reflect off anything regardless of how shiny it is...?

Not really. I think he bares a striking resemblance to David Boreanaz, specifically at timestamp 1:00.

Is this too much to ask for the movie?

I like how that looks in a drawing; however, in a real movie that amount of muscle/shadows around the muscles wouldn't be showing. The clothing wouldn't have all that shading and lighting to give that black/blue/shine/white contrast, etc. You would basically have a padded Adam West suit. In other words, it would look like the Man of Steel suit except in blue, gray and yellow. Someone could manip a picture of the Man of Steel suit, change the colors to that, and add the logo, helmet, gloves, etc. and that should give everyone a pretty good idea of what that would look like in a live action movie.

David Boreanaz - he was on Buffy, Angel, and now Bones. He was actually on many fanlists for the next new Batman before Batfleck was announced.

It's the eyes and brow that sell me on the comparison, but I agree that shot wasn't the clearest. It's hard to find an exact angle with good res...maybe my other one works better.

Edit: I know the nose is a bit different, but I'm sure they didn't want to copy him verbatim.

No. Two-Face's design is about the same as City. Penguin looks a little different but maybe that's because he doesn't have that heavy coat on. Harley looks like her Asylum suit.

The Arkham Knight suit is a battle armor suit that Batman upgrades to later in the story,He starts the game in the AC suit

There will likely be many skins to use again like in AC&AO anyway

Honestly it looks really New 52 influenced to me more than anything.

Seems like DC/Warner Brothers are trying to stick to some continuity with Batman's look through popular media.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Snyderverse suit didn't at least adhere to some of the elements of the New 52 representation. Gray/Black with no trunks and a black bat-emblem with no yellow oval.

Just checked the Arkham City Two-Face; You're right. I didn't remember it being as TDKish as far as exposed eye socket and jaw.

The AK suit is fine for the game, but I wouldn't want it in a movie.

Love the under suit with the armour locking on top so you are protected but have flexibility in the joints.
