Degrading the image by photographing it on a screen is a great way to hide that it's a manip, but then makes it more suspicious that it is one.

It would also be a great way to disguise it if it was a really legit pic, which might otherwise have identifying watermarks/metadata to give away the leak.

I think the easiest way to identify if it's a manip is to find the toy/statue or other image it was made from.

BUT if that WAS the real deal, I'd be pretty happy.

And I don't instantly recognise what it was made from if it is a manip - it doesn't exactly match any toy or fan-made cowl I've seen before.

I doubt it's real, either way it's pretty awesome to look at.

The only way to debunk it is to find the source image(s) it was based on. I'm not finding anything in google image searches that matches the shape/lighting/position etc.

I'm pulling out of my arse that it's a 90% chance it's fake and 10% it's real. It's pretty much exactly what I've been expecting from the rumours, anyway.

It's most likely fake, considering if it was a leak, I'm sure it would have blown up by now and I see nothing significant coming of it. But if it is real, I AM ALL IN

How? It's a thin neck that gives that appearance, and this pic isn't even framed in a way that lets you see how thin or thick the neck is.

Yeah, I agree that if it were a real leak, we'd probably see more of the image and I'm sure it would be a bit clearer - unless Zack is just teasing us somehow. But with that said, I too haven't seen the image that this manip would have come from so there's that. It looks to me as though that person is actually wearing that mask - the face is in the exact alignment with the angle/tilt of the cowl...if this is legit, I'd be totally happy! White eyes and allt: I would prefer a bit longer ears, but these would do.

From the little we can see, it looks like the head and neck are continuously connected (not like bobble head TDKR) and it's showing the head turned as well, so at least there's flexibility. Even if this is just a manip, it's something interesting to look at and discuss while we wait for the official release

I do like that cowl if it's real, however I prefer a more straight up look rather than curved ears on the cowl. The length is fine though.

Very Jim Lee - Frank Miller- David Mazzuchelli short ears Batman.

My favorite Batman stories are from the 70's Batman with the long ears, but my favorite look is the black suit with short ears.

It would mimic Jim Lee. I think Kevin Smith said the costume was Jim Lee inspired, so I don't think it has to be exactly like a Lee design. I hope the ears are longer. I find the shorter ears look at bit...cute.

I guess since it is b&w it could be a different color, but the shade would be darker than this, IMO.

A white background is exactly what they take photos like these in front of. There were DOZENS of Christian Bale Begins photos taken on a white background that eventually made it out.
