The next progression is to make the game look as good as the Blur Studios intro.

It may be that developers will turn to visual styles other than photorealism in order to distinguish their product. I would be much more interested in that.

I've read that not much should be looked when it comes to the trailer since Blur's cinematics don't always reflect the actual look of the game. So, Bruce might not look like that in the final product.

True- game play is definitely lesser than the cinematics in most games, but some are getting there.

Keep in mind that that isn't gameplay footage. This was the trailer from Arkham City:

And while I expect that the game itself will be far more visually impressive than the previous games, it won't be as great looking as that trailer.

A teaser over a year and a half away? No chance. They could literally hide themselves for a year, and it would still technically be early to start promoting the movie.

God damn this delay.

To be fair the movie comes out in May of 2016, I think we are being greedy expecting big reveals sooo soon. They should hold off for as long as possible.

They absoulutely will show the costumes before the filming which starts in 1 month to avoid spy pics.

Yeah you never want the costume to be revealed through ugly low res cell phone pictures. What if they do a lot of visual effects shooting in doors though that means we'd still have to wait?

I hate to be a "this-er" but… This ^

I think we forget that the movie is 2 years away and they really don't have to reveal anything for at least a year honestly.

We have become such a greedy and unsatisfiable society. It's disheartening.
