^ agreed!! That is ideal - maybe we'l get that in the movies at some point! For JL?

That would require some muscle padding similar to that used in the MOS suits.

I'd even be fine without any padding and obvious six pack. Just make the costume form fitting enough, so you can see he actually has some meat on his arms, legs and chest.

God that Spidey suit is a thing of beauty, why can't all superhero costumes look that good.

Thats funny, I think it's one of the worst costumes to grace the big screen. If we all liked the same things life would be boring! ;)

I'm sorry. I didn't mean anything by my comment, just that it's interesting how unique we all are. I haven't seen the film, but I've seen the suit on the big screen. My apologies if the comment was offensive, that wasn't my intent.

thats the best spider-man suit I've seen for the big screen so far.

they finally nailed the eyes.

You weren't offensive at all, I was just curious :woot:

God that costume is beautiful.

That and the suit Raimi used in 1 & 2 are perfect.

How? Do you think his comic book suit is one of the worst designs of all time? Because the new suit is pretty much identical to it. Or are you just saying that to be "different" and "prove a point"? What would you prefer for the costume, how would you improve it or make it more accurate if that's what you're going for?

Some people have good taste, some have bad taste...no way around that. ;)
No matter the superhero suit we reference, I say if you can make a better version, do so and show us.

Since I know that a lot of talented people are in here, I'm gonna re-post my request here.

Can someone talented manip this? Adding the traditional belt and lightning trims on the gloves. But with the CW Flash's costume textures and lightning lines on the arms, legs and waist.

Yeah the new Spidey suit is definitely one of the best superhero costumes ever. It's a shame the new Flash suit couldn't be of the same quality.

Well they don't have to necessarily make a better one and show us (although I'd love the opportunity to do that myself if given the money for a few of them, particularly this new Flash suit travesty, I KNOW I could do it), but at least explain why you dislike it and how it could be improved, or what ways YOU think it could be improved at least, because without justification, knocking on a suit that's so well designed and looks cool and modern yet just like the source material makes me think you're just hating to hate and takes away the...validity if you will of your viewpoint.

Well, I probably should have just kept it to myself, but no, I have no desire to "be different" or "prove a point". I just feel that the materials used gives a it a cheap cosplay feel. The overall design is very close to the comics, so for that I give them credit. I just don't feel it was executed as well as it could have been. But hey, maybe I just have bad taste ;)

Having said all of that, man I'm ready for the batsuit reveal

You gotta stop watching these movies on VHS connecting via the one coax to the 13" tube tv you're on... missing all the detail! :) Seriously though, saying the materials used look worse than cosplay about something clearly so innovative means you aren't looking at it clearly. My eldest son thought his vision was fine, until he had to wear glasses to see farther than 10 feet away. ;) Now he can "see!"

You sure you're not just watching old episodes of the 70s tv show instead of the movies done more recently?

Man the new Batsuit looks worse than most the cosplays I've seen...

Sorry, couldn't help it. :)

Yes Spamtron, you have opened my eyes. I shall now throw out my Zenith console television and try out these...what are they called again...BVD's??

My point still stands, I can go into more detail but this isn't the thread for it

Keep your underwear preferences to yourself thanks :cwink:

The Flash suit isn't bad but it isn't good either.

It seems to fall victim to a lot of comic book costume tropes instead of being designed for function and common sense.

Faux leather, dark red (because CBMs hate color), piping, molded muscles etc.

It would make much more sense to design a Flash costume that has the same language as Nike's running gear. Something very form fitting (because he is a runner), and very techy/stylish.

You do realize that there is a significant amount of padding on the new Spidey suit as well? Along with facial under structures as too..
