As long as they bring in the same people who worked on the MOS suit, I think we're in good hands.

I would love an Arkham-verse suit look for this film and I really get the feeling that is what Snyder will go for. The cinematography on these two characters alone will be will be worth the ticket price.

I think the script is going to be kind of crap, structure wise at very least. Which will negatively effect the whole movie. I'm not looking forward to it. However... There's not a doubt in my mind that the Snyder Batman will be the coolest looking Batman we've had on film.

Since you apparently know all about the film already, would you mind filling us in?

Educated guess/speculation based on Snyder and Goyer's past work. Which is what we've been doing this entire time, for every movie on this forum. Not too different from "As long as it's the same people who did the MoS suit, I think we're in good hands". ;)

I love this design!

Aside from the lame cape/symbol arrangement, that's actually pretty boss.

I sorta agree I'm concerned. With Goyer the bad far outweighs the good in his writing credits IMO (BB and slightly Blade are really the only standout ones. He also wrote Ghost Rider 2, The Unborn and Jumper) and the only Snyder film I liked the dialogue of was really Watchmen and he had no part in the writing of that! Sucker Punch (the only film he had purely wrote and did the story for) was awful as well. 300 wasn't great in the writing area either.

Both of their issues for me mainly come to dialogue. They both write BAD dialogue. With Goyer when he shines he knocks it outta the park. But he is a moments guy. He isn't consistent. All his films drop somewhere along the line especially in the third acts. The worrying issue I have is, if you have two people both with bad dialogue reputations who is there to say "no no no this sounds stupid?" no one. The Nolan's wont be there and WB are just thinking "Batman/Superman = money" which while true for a while may not work well in the long run. The Avengers didn't make way over a Billion dollars cause of the "cool factor" and was a ******* good time.

I'm just worried about lines like "RELEASE THE WORLD ENGINE" creeping into the script when the first thing any decent writer should do is look at some feedback and be like "lines like that have to go". But I can just imagine Snyder and Goyer thinking "screw it, more of the same. But with BATMAN!".

Don't get me wrong. I was over the ******* moon with the announcement and can not wait. But I also have big concerns cause this film either makes it or falls with the script. I just can't believe that someone like Michael Shannon didn't say "is there someway we can change this line?" when it came to the world engine thing.

That above image is 1000000x better than that BTB cgi crap.

The ideal batsuit,
I was sad when this great scene was not recreated in the Dark Knight.

Eh, don't like it at all...I can't get over the weird body proportions. His legs are so long and skinny and his torso reminds me of a gorilla. Besides that, I don't see what's remarkable about the suit...and the symbol and gauntlets are also strange looking.

I don't get why the proportions matter when the artist clearly has a cartoonish/Pixar style. What matters is the suit.

The execution is clean and the guantlets are no different from the Arkham-verse.

^^
I really like the cowl in the first image.

Which are appalling.

Also I think this pic got lost a couple pages back when the thread went a little off topic. What do you think about a design like this?

I quite like that and it definitely seems like a Snyder style suit.
