Yeah it's just a comic statue not a real picture so i wouldn't expect it to be 100% accurate but it doesn't look to far off from this really

So since Arkham Knight is owned by WB Games, does anyone think it's at all possible we could finally see some film batsuits in this game? Bale, Keaton, Clooney, Affleck? It's a stretch, especially for the Fleck, but this is my ultimate dream for this game.

I think physique wise Batman shouldn't be too hulking or wide. Ideally he'd be a little more slender and mobile.

Something more like this

Yeah that would have been great. But i guess Snyder really wanted to do his DKR thing.

As I've said before, I'd love if one of the solo Batman movies was set pre-DOJ or maybe just had flashbacks to the earlier days so we could see a leaner Batfleck.

Well the human body doesn't exactly correspond to that but I get what you mean.

Did anyone notice how big Charlie Cox in Daredevil isn't? He was fit as hell but nowhere near the size most modern superhero actors have been lately.

He looked exactly as strong and fit as he needed to be to be an awesome fighter, like a Bruce Lee type.

I'd love if Batman was closer to that. Not quite that slim, but closer to it.

I never liked the the Batman Beyond suit and I never used it in Arkham City, so that doesn't bother me. I always ended up using the Dark Knight Returns/Year One suits, so it'll probably be the same this time

How hard is it to use the exact same skins from City? Sure the beyond one is kinda hard to adapt, but that TDKR skin is literal perfection.

Agreed. The new one doesn't look as solid as the Arkham City TDKR skin. But, I guarantee I'll still play with it a lot. Can't wait for the day that a new DLC drops and says "New Skin Available! Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Batsuit"

Lawd.

Considering that they want to show off with how detailed they can make new designs look with this new engine and completely lack the subtlety when trying to make these suits more detailed, movie costumes would be perfect for that. Especially BvS one, with that texture and scratches and all...

Remember that Batman is supposed to be quite a bit older than what we've ever had in live action. He's probably not really that concerned with his weight at this point.

Well yeah, that's pretty much Bale's TDKT physique and it would make more sense in real life, though I do like huge Batman like the Batfleck we're getting, even though it doesn't make much sense for a stealth-based character.

By the way, for those interested, these were just announced for "Arkham Knight" - "The Dark Knight Returns" skin and some atrocity they claim is supposed to be "Batman Beyond" skin:

Tara Strong tho. :cwink:

Indeed; nevermind the new engine, "subtlety" has never been in Rocksteady's visual vocabulary. Wonderful games, but aesthetically they mirror the excesses of the Schumacher films--just at the opposite end of the spectrum.

In many cases it's not a bad thing. Gotham looks wonderful and the models are all beautiful in their extremity. At the same time, though, I find the steroid-infused bat-hulk to be pretty over-the-top and undesirable.

Actually, when it comes to "Arkham" games, I preferred Sorkin's voice in "Asylum" to Strong's one in "City". We'll see how she'll sound in "Arkham Knight", but in "City" she was too squeaky to me.

Very well put. I agree with everything in your post.

Why have they done the Batman Beyond suit like that? :( What even is that?

I liked the Beyond suit in City much better.

I hate these puzzle piece Master Chief style batsuits. I will never ever see the appeal.

Yeah, I don't see why they felt the need to change it to the point of being unrecognizable, these two skins just seem rather half hearted, their City counterparts were infinitely better looking.

Dropped in to say that when MOS was about to release, I had no interest. I'm a Superman fan, but it for some reason didn't excite me. I'm really a visual guy, and I love things like a hero's weaponry, arsenal, and his suit--and what they can look like. I remember just geeking out over the MOS suit and that's what got me to become interested in the movie. I picked up a few comics and delved more into Superman than I ever have before. Sounds a bit ridiculous, that my love started with how cool I thought the suit looked.

This is the part where this whole forum might jump me, but I was never crazy about Batman. Not even the Nolan movies. But the more Snyder revealed the Batsuit, I started really liking the look. And the fact that a lot of the Batman movies so far has just used the armored look, but this one is more comic like, I really dig! Picked up New 52 Batman..so it seems the process is starting over :] ha.
