This problem is potentially exacerbated by Batman limited range of head motion. If Batman's eyes can't tell us where he's looking, and he can't turn his head, he would basically have to be square with whatever he's supposed to be looking at, all the time.
This is less of a problem today than it was twenty years ago, but even Affleck's suit doesn't have a natural range of motion, and when he does turn his head it twists the cowl in a non-flattering way. Bale had the best range of motion. These aren't movie killing problems but they do limit an actor's options in their performance.
Lenses have a place on film, I think, but maybe not as a permanent fixture of the cowl. There are scenes that would be better with lenses and scenes that would be worse. Likewise, a certain type of performance would be wounded, another enhanced. Daredevil's performance is enhanced.
Some kind of retractable lenses would be fine, similar to the Arkham games. Just when he's fighting or casing things out, or even making his way around Gotham rooftops. When he's talking to members of the League or Alfred he doesn't need the lenses down.
Well just because it can stop bullets doesn't mean it will maintain the same strength after repeated hits. The suit does look pretty beat up. Wouldn't be a stretch for him to get a new one because he's going up a new series of threats.
That being said, I would love if in Justice League, we see the suit get torn up to the point where yeah he needs to bust out a new suit. The most damage we've ever seen the suit take is when Keaton ripped the cowl off in Returns and Banes breaking the cowl. The body of the suit has always stood up.
From what I can see in your avatar, the musculature looks perfect! It looks hardened and aesthetic without going full-schumaker.
Do you have a bigger image?
This is just such a great suit.
Why did they release such ****** pictures for the lead up of the film when this suit when properly lit/right angles can be so beautiful.
