Yeah, that's a bit better. Still don't care for the already named "inflatable" look or the cowl or the abs section. If they improved on those aspects a little, it could work.

Also, I don't see how people could say it looks yuk or ugly, considering this is what we got for the last trilogy.

One ugly suit doesn't excuse another.

I agree with pretty much everything you said. As someone who hated the way the Noel suit looks in the comics, I quite like this one, with some small alterations.

Actually a variation of the bottom Noel suit would look sweet on film. It just can't be as bulky and the belt needs to be dark mustard looking yellow. The emblem needs to be seperate from cape and cowl though. Visually onscreen, a variation of this Noel suit has the potential to be fantastic I think.

Not exactly. The cowl goes down over the shoulders, but the cape is still separate. I haven't seen the movie in a while, but I also feel like there's at least a little "Batman turn" required in his movements, or else they just let him turn his head and wrinkle the latex cowl at the neck.

I went back and watched the movie after hearing Batman was cast and he is able to turn his head…i think it has to do with the lines on the sides of the neck and at the base.

I honestly don't think making TDK suit look bad will be very hard to do.

My source tells me that current cowl designs resemble the Caped Crusader's look in Batman: Noël. Which is a 2011 graphic novel written and illustrated by Lee Bermejo, based on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. They also explored concepts that looked like Injustice: Gods Among Us designs, but ultimately passed on those because they were too similar to Nolan's costume."


They only mention the cowl.

I hated on the Noel suit before, but this looks awesome. Separating the cape and the symbol makes it look much better. Maybe the belt could be more of a golden brown, or the original color, and the loops could be removed

Sounds kinda fishy to me. The Injustice cowl is actually the ugliest thing that has ever existed on the planet, and not a single person, anywhere, ever (including whatever miserable soul designed it) likes it even a little. So somehow I doubt the S/B production is looking at it and saying "Whoo, let's take a crack at that ugly mug."

As for the cowl resembling Bermejo's (I find it silly that we're calling it the "Noel" suit; Bermejo has been drawing the same thing for years--for so long that we used to talk about using his suit in 2003), shrug. It's a pretty standard cowl, really. Not particular worried if that's true. I'd like some long ears, but I'll deal.

If they're taking cues from the rest of the Bermejo suit, that's a little more concerning.

Wow. Pretty darn close to perfection. As someone who absolutely HATED the Bermejo suit...this is probably my favorite manip I've seen thus far. Thank you! Really hope the final batsuit looks close to this...it would look fantastic next to Superman.

That quote is kind of perplexing... the design of the Noel cowl is much closer to Nolan's TDK cowl than the Injustice one. The only thing Injustice has in common with Nolan's is the strangely small mouth hole, but the Injustice one is a wild departure in every other area. Meanwhile, the only strong difference I see between Noel and TDK is the mouth hole.
