I hope so, Batman in the batcave at his computer with his cowl folded back is iconic imagery at its finest.

I hope we get some epic and classic Batman "pose" scenes, something like this but with his cape spread out and then slowly pulls in as he slowly rises, shadowed of course...I think it was in a fan film I saw a while back.

Or the pose on the gargoyle that Jim Lee gave us. I know Nolan tried to do this, but the cape wasn't flowing enough.

Agreed. I want some shots of THAT CAPE!!!!!

If Superman's cape in MOS was digital in half the scenes and looked awesome, I don't see a problem with digital white eyes. But even if we don't get white eyes, I won't complain.

Seconded.. but If they were I'd like as the texture of Spidey's suits

And Ozy had nipples.

I believe the suits in Watchmen were partially a commentary/satire on the aesthetic of superhero costumes (hence the nipples and trunks).

I like that Watchman suit alot. If all Snyder does is take that suit, change the cowl (however still has to be able to fold back), paint it black, and stick a bat on it, well it would work just great for me!

Seeing as Snyder is a huge Jim Lee fan, he's definitely going to give us those money shots. The cape porn in this film is going to be insane.

Nope, the cowl was separated of the suit

no, he just was able to take the cowl off. still a huge improvement over Keaton just tearing the cowl off his face. though I really want the fold back cowl, no reason not to do it.

Again, he's part of a group that represented a bygone era per the story line of Watchmen. Modern superheroes don't really need to have trunks, but I trust in Snyder.

Heh, I've read and watched Watchmen. I get it.

I'm just saying it doesn't look silly, at all.

Nite Owl's costume was awesome. Kind of a mix between armor and fabric.

Oh boy... can't wait to see the new batsuit...

The Nite Owl cowl looks very similar to the "Batman: Noel" design which people are saying may have inspired the cowl.

Do you think Snyder is gonna put the glasses as an innovation from the new batsuit?
can someone do a manip with the texture of spidey's eyes?

As somebody who usually thinks most everything that happens in comics/cartoons could be made to work on film....
I'm not a fan of the white eyes happening in live action.
They work really well in comics and animations,but when they're used in real life they look more like some sort of medical condition.
The contacts used in fan films look like crap.
The way they did it in TDK was pretty terrible.
Mask Lenses looked weird in daredevil
It just doesn't work IMO

Yeah I tend to agree the white eyes probably would not work in live action, the only way I could even think to make it work is the way they did it in the Arkham games.

Do you guys think the yellow/oval insignia will be used in this movie?
The "Keep calm and call batman" poster easter egg in MOS used it.
And it kind of fits with the blue/gray color scheme.
(...if that's in fact what we're getting)

I think we will see some yellow in the suit. I don't know about the oval though.
