I would add briefly that I wasn't impressed with bale's characterization; I felt that of all times for him to play average well put together mentality stable... this wasn't that time. Especially coming off of the recent work he did prior.

Getting Wonder Woman right in live action isn't even an issue. It's pretty much been done, as I'm sure most of you know:

Either of those makes what DC came up with for their pilot look even more laughable.

That first one is awesome. Gaunthlets especially.
However I wouldn't blame DC or even WB for the aesthetics of the pilot but rather the director and costume designer.

This will be all the more obvious when Snyders batsuit is revealed.

OK, that's what I thought he said.

I see nothing there that, As Slumcat put it -

All he was saying there was how he felt trunks were inappropriate
for an alien like Superman, and nothing whatsoever about the bolded part, or that you "Basically not see them in the DCCU ever." Slumcat is just reading stuff into Snyder's quote that just isn't there.

It could also just be a casualty of Nolan's involvement;

“There’s a logic and concreteness that has to exist with Chris,” he said. “You can’t just do stuff because it’s cool. He demands that there be story and character behind all of it, which I’m a big fan of.”

Also in the youtube clip the costume illustrator definitively says the new52 suit played no role in designing the MOS suit.

Thanks for the links. Still, all of that was about Superman and Superman only and a suit that is alien in origin. Nothing in any of the articles saying he would apply that to Batman and the rest of the DCCU.
Still, I won't be making any blanket statements that because of that it means he WILL for sure have Batman wearing trunks, that would be silly. Just as silly as declaring categorically that he won't. We won't know positively until a suit pic is released.

Agreed. It has a very "Dark Knight Returns" vibe going for the style.

I wouldn't mind a costume that plays up the "creature of the night" angle a bit more. So I'm hoping for a cape that covers the shoulders and can cover the whole body, a mask that moves with his face, and for them to use the same technology they used for Superman's cape to really give an ethereal feel to Batman's cape.

Really like the look of that outfit for a start Pablo... The cape should be bigger in Snyderverse, and the boot cut fit pants look on the boots makes no sense, plus the style of boot isn't what I see Batman wearing. Maybe bring the ankles in and add that to his quads by a factor of 5.
Speaking to that, please double the size of that dude's quads! Anytime a guy's arms are bigger than his legs by a factor of 1.5+ is freaky to say the least... 22" biceps + 18" quads makes for a weird combo in live action.

But overall I like a lot of the aspects on that suit style, nice work.
