So basically, we're potentially looking at a more expensive version of this:
I could dig it, ngl.

Fillion and possibly Brosnahan spotted in the background.
I’m still tickled by the minority of fans who *****ed that Gunn made the changes he did to that character. Like, you guys… there wasn’t a whole lot there to begin with.I don't we as a nerd culture gave Freddie Stroma as Vigilante the credit he deserves. Dude was as entertaining as Deadpool.

Luuuv that there could be hi-tech LexCorp troopers.
I love the Kingdom Come S but... I hope not. It just has a really specific meaning to me. I'm not against them simplifying the shield, but I'd rather it still had a kind of softness to it. Something like the original All-Star shield (before they were told to switch it back)--

Me too! I love it, honestly. Damn, the hype is starting to feel real at this point. I'm so happy this journey is finally beginning! So basically, we're potentially looking at a more expensive version of this:

glyph — where the font style actually looks like the letter S — lends itself to an Earthly origin. I.e., Supes (or the Kents) decided, by one pretext or another, that he’d be publicly known as “Superman”; and so his symbol would be the first letter of that name.
(like the KC version) — which only vaguely and “coincidentally” resembles an S — works better for a Kryptonian origin. And it also helps avoid the awkward self-aggrandizement of Supes naming himself “Superman.” (Usually, it’s someone else — often Lois — who invents the moniker.)I suppose… But how would that work in a (this) movie? An intro shot of the Cleveland building elicits cheers from Knowledgeable Fans. But then there’d be (say) a shot of a sign reading: “Superhero Museum” — which clarifies that the edifice is not actually the Justice League HQ…?I think of the Hall of Justice more of being a figurehead/public outreach endeavor. It’s more of a museum than a HQ. The true Justice League headquarters is the Watchtower.

That is always what amazes me about Nerd Culture...going back to my days working at the comic shop. Like some rando character no one has ever heard of will get killed off or a huge revamp and like 5 people will end up screaming to high heaven about it like that author destroyed their childhood. Like I get being up in arms because an A or B list character gets messed up...but who cares if they changed the colors of Vibe's glasses?I’m still tickled by the minority of fans who *****ed that Gunn made the changes he did to that character. Like, you guys… there wasn’t a whole lot there to begin with.
For **** sake, his superhero name is “Vigilante.”
Comics Vigilante is a blatant Punisher rip-off, Gunn & Freddie made him an actual character.I’m still tickled by the minority of fans who *****ed that Gunn made the changes he did to that character. Like, you guys… there wasn’t a whole lot there to begin with.

That was also my thinking, him eventually changing up the Kingdom Come shield for the more traditional one we all know and love.I'd prefer the Fleischer emblem, but I'm also a big fan of the Kingdom Come S so this works for me. If nothing else, it's a bit more "alien" looking and plays into the Kryptonian heritage angle. Maybe he changes to a more traditional S design once he embraces his Earth heritage.
But really I just want those ****ing trunks.![]()
