That S is used by more than just KC and is the wrong color to be KC anyways.

The logo looks good. Not my favorite but... looks good.

If we're doing Alex Ross, I would've preferred the more classic looking logo, but this doesn't look half bad.

If we're doing Alex Ross, that shield better be gigantic!

I adore it. People are nuts, it is immediately recognizably the Superman symbol.

I think people will still recognize it to be a version of Superman's symbol because of the color and diamond shape.

I would have liked seeing the bottom right side of the symbol to be a little bolder or more curved so that the S stood out just a bit more.

The KC style isn't a deal breaker for me nor will it ruin the aesthetic of the costume, assuming they nail all the other components. I think the fanart with new logo shows that suit can still look great as whole. I simply prefer a more traditional looking symbol and I am disappointed we are not getting it, as well as surprised Gunn is using this version of the symbol.

This image alone shows I think it can look amazing in execution.

Not that seeing the logo presented CinemeCon is anything new, but I think the shield is ultimately fine. The KC design has never been a favorite of mine (my hope was something closer the the classic/ merch design), but the shield looked better than I anticipated on the suit teaser pic.

The :legacy: looks SUPER, and it's nice to see it officially revealed (again? I don't know).

The combo of the KC logo with the classic colors is what does it for me, I think.

Plus, I love that many years later, we're still going with the narrative that the shield is a family crest that just happens to resemble an "S". It's been one of my favorite additions to the Superman mythos.

I find it fascinating with all the technology and social media around all we have as an official full logo reveal is a crappy blurry photo from the screen of a presentation.

That same tech is used to prevent such leaks... Apparently.

I agree, I think it's super weird they haven't sent round an 'official' look at the logo. It makes all the comparisons a bit unfair, as it's being judged on a poor quality shot.

Well is like they try so hard to keep things "under wraps" and from leaking and so forth, and when the time finally comes then they just drop the ball. We don't even have a clean looking logo but an incomplete basketball version up close and a low-res image someone happened to take a picture of. It's so weird.
There was A LOT of talk about the Fantastic Four and then Marvel just went "Ok, here's the logo, here's the final cast, here are the costumes, happy? Now wait for it".

Alex Ross designed that S for the Superman from the Kingdom Come story.

Still don't understand why they're giving it to a (supposed) Superman inspired by For All Seasons / All Star.
Maybe because they are fundamentally very similar interpretations/characterizations.

It’s not like a director who thinks it is a great idea to create an amalgamation of Death of Superman/All Star/ and Injustice.

I don't know why the idea of mixing and matching different attributes or aesthetic variations is so foreign to people. It's the one instance of fans being parochial that I don't get at all. :whoops:
