Okay, everybody, time for the joke to end. We don't want Doc to come in here and purge the thread.

They need to let that go. I'm really glad Gunn has already confirmed he's NOT using it. :funny:
Mr. Gunn, please reconsider. When it comes to not using Starman and having Andy Muschietti directing Brave and the Bold. If you don't, I fear you'll ruin the entire DCU before it starts. :weeping:

I'm hearing Starman getting overused by Superman fanboys.

I still maintain that he is going to use Kansas.

Gunn loves Classic Rock and the lyrics are so perfect for Superman. And Miracles out of Nowhere has such a killer fiddle solo.

Wouldn't rule it out, but his 2 most recent projects have skewed more toward 80's-90's needle drops so I'm kinda expecting this to fall more in line with those.

I still love it...so much so that when Jon Cryer became Lex on Supergirl I geeked out WAY too much!

If anyone but Canon Films makes it that film crushes!
I would say I watched Superman IV the most as a kid and it's probably not even close! Sure it doesn't hold up nowadays, but it's still endearing to me. When Nuclear Man made his return to the comics a few years ago, I marked out for sure lol☀️

Strangely enough, S:IV was my introduction to Superman. I didn't even realize that CR had starred in other/more superior Superman films before that.

Cough, look at the movie's costume design. :o

More seriously, I generally think pop music of the 80s and 90s doesn't really match Superman as well in terms of tone, mood, or themes. The 60s and 70s have more of that peace, love, and optimism vibe. In contrast, there is a reason why 90s Grunge was such a perfect fit for The Batman.

We'll see!

Stop the cap.

A leather jacket striped suit isn’t what your bald mind had envisioned for the first live appearance on film of Hawkgirl. We both know who would’ve gotten that aspect right the first time, but saying his name around here is like candy man or bettlejuice. :o But! Them lame leather team suits seems to be part of a side thread of storylines etc, so its cool for now. We shall wait. But be real with your toupee self. I’m merely disappointed for now, it was one of the easiest suits to get right after Superman. Especially for Gunn.

His name is Zack Snyder, and he would have melted our faces off with his designs. I don't care what the fan-wars say at this point. I'm at a total revelation and at a re-set as a fan. The truth is the truth
