I think this
Superman seems to be coming quickly because, for once, the film has developed
normally.
Forgetting the reception that
BvS was given, it's undeniable that it was one of the most anticipated films by the fan communities... we were told about it for 3 years. We had three Comic-Con with announcements and trailers before seeing this film.
Then the enthusiasm died down to wake up years later with
The Batman which promised a certain renewal
(no pun intended). It took 3 years
(ok, 35 months...) between Reeves signing on the project and the start of a filming which itself was stopped for months because of the Covid crisis. The film was finally released almost 2 years later.
But this
Superman, once again an event film for multiple reasons, experienced a relatively fast development and a shooting without any setbacks.
This time, only two years have passed between the announcement of the film in December 2022 and this December when we will discover the first trailer.
We're not used to things going well anymore...
