Man, I can't stop listening to that score. I have the motion picture on legit repeat lol. So damn epic.

Same. I meditated to it this morning. Now it's my background as I work. It's a multi purpose track

No reports on the viewing? Apart from the one we had. I dunno what time it is in America so it might even be tomorrow for me.
Only things i've seen today:

Oh and fillion saying this, but that's not about the viewing

Really? You must of blocked certain YouTubers on social media. :astonish: :woozy: Anyway great job of avoiding a certain segment of the population.
I was just going to say give it a few days and we will see the true fallout or a strong positive response buuuuut...I don't trust films these days untill I see them. I want this film to be a classic that wearing a shirt of the "brand" is cool and not just dorky like Synder films (sorrrry)

I still love the theme and can’t get it out of my head. One thing about Gunn is that he is very good at balancing orchestral score with needle drops.

And on that subject: the needle drop that I would love:
Blister in the Sun by Violent Femmes.

I’m sure they’re under embargo. I think the point of the event today was to have interviews and articles ready to release with the trailer on Thursday.

Yet you had people in every corner of the internet saying they’re doing too much and the press would leak everything before the teaser dropped lol cause how dare they use resources like the trades

It's pretty obvious these days that the studios pick and choose who they invite to these events because they want good press.

I don't blame the studio at all but a lot of these "journalists" are more or less influencers now and rarely say anything bad about a movie because they are so concerned about their access being cut off. That's why every marvel movie that comes out is the greatest thing ever or any DC property is the best movie since the dark knight.

So the only reaction you will get from this is positive, let's be real. The only thing that will matter is when the movie comes out which I actually think Gunn will pull this off.

I wouldn't say they were doing too much, but I did worry that details would leak after the press event. Very happy to have been wrong on that. Guess they know who to not invite to make sure they get no leaks.

Why is Jeff Sneider such a hot topic lol. There's like thousands of guys out there like him in Twitterland. Who cares how that guy moves.
Because he is one of the more vocal guys who pretends he knows things and has a following because of it. He is another Grace. No one would care except people on sites like this always tend to post their nonsense and half defend it even when it is 100% wrong. (which with him is more often than it should be)

Apparently, this is one of the "good questions" he asked at the last DC press event he was invited to.

Look I think I get the point of what he is trying to ask in light of the political climate in this country the last decade...but Jesus man talk about the wrong place and wrong time.

I can't wait till we are going through every single screen grab we can get and analysing it to it's death.

We should make a bingo card for...either positive or negative comments made about the trailer.

Most of the negativity I've seen towards this film (and the new DCU as a whole) seems to come from a certain segment of Snyder/Cavill fans who hate the new stuff simply because it's not Snyder/Cavill. I expect that will continue even after the trailer this Thursday. It's just kind of sad to see and read, but I've kind of tuned those people out.

If you were referring to my comment I was mostly talking about the crowd here which generally is pretty open minded, I don't think I have noticed any toxic fans so much these days on SHH

Why worry? They didn't see the film, it isn't even a full trailer it is just a teaser. If it leaked it wouldn't really matter one iota and it would be easy to ignore.

edit: some of you guys need to be on social media less or just learn not to pay attention to the things you don't want to deal with. If you don't want to see negativity or certain segments of fans mute them or scroll past them. Or stick around here where most of the conversation should be civil :)

No. Wasn't referring to your comment at all or anything on the Hype really. Just more to what I've seen on Youtube and Social Media the past few years.

Hey. getting stressed out by negativity online is part of the fun!

The funniest thing about that crowd is that if there is anyone who neutered Cavill’s Superman, it’s Snyder. He turned him into a moping sap with 10 lines of dialogue. It was obvious that once he got MoS out of the way, Snyder had no interest in developing Superman as a character and wanted to move on to more “badass” heroes like Batman and Aquaman.

Yep. Cavill was never given the chance to actually BE Superman because of Snyder and the creatives in charge at the time. Which is why I'm ready and hopeful to move in this new direction.

WB and Snyder mistakenly thought that the seriousness, darkness, and attitude of Batman would translate over to a Superman film.
They thought wrong.

MoS COULD have been a good starting off point if Snyder had been replaced.

There is a possible description leak of the trailer but I won't post it, it's on Reddit somewhere and the source isn't that trustworthy as I have read.
