All of those flicks will stick it out and see what happens in July. If Marvel was gonna move, it would've been announced in this recent trailer. Idk why Superman supposedly needs to move more than Rebirth though. Its legs get cut twice. Superman has two weeks. Rebirth has one.

Yeah, I don't see James moving his film's date either. Unless I'm mistaken, James said that the current release date has a sentimental value for him. Something to do with his father.

I believe it has been billed as a “sneak preview”. Not sure what that entails. I could low key see it being a BTS featurette or something.

So far Superman’s the only superhero film I’m interested in seeing in a theatre this year. It’s not so much to do with the trailer, but more to do with Gunn’s comments in the lead up to this. He’s been speaking my language about how I’ve been feeling about the genre as of late. I hope he sticks the landing and really does put story and script first.

The trailers for the other comic book films coming out this year don’t look terrible, but to me they just look like business as usual. As we get closer to July my feelings on that could change.

'Superman' trending at 46k at the moment after the FF4 trailer. The box office at this point is unpredictable and we all know that social media doesn't exactly equal ticket sales, but dang, does Superman have a social media presence. There is absolutely no denying that.

Definitely not trying to start a tribalism war with DC and Marvel, but after watching that Fantastic Four Trailer just now, it's hilarious to me if anyone honestly thinks that is going to draw the same hype as Gunn's Superman.

F4 is definitely going to move slots in July. And I say that as someone who is looking forward to seeing the film, even if it looks like every other Marvel film only with a 60's setting.

It did kind of give off Tomorrowland vibes. I liked the Superman one much more

In defense of FF4, it’s not Superman but it is trying to restart the Marvel universe. After watching the trailer a few times the Thing grew on me. Plus Pedro and Vanessa are good together. I am tired of the DC/Marvel crap. I pray we get back to the day when we had everyone was excited for BVS and also excited for Civil War. Probably the last time DC could go toe to toe with Marvel. Good times…..

It was until BVS came out. Remember BVS set a first 3 day world record. Of course the DCEU crashed and burned after that but it was going to give Marvel a battle. Big things where expected from BVS and Suicide Squad.

Nah there was a good chunk of fandom not looking forward to either movie, especially on this forum. As a big Batman fan myself I definitely did not want to see BvS.

I was here...that is definitely not what was going on. Tribalism was out in full force before BvS came out.
