Gunn and David already explained the suit. They don’t want Superman in a muscle suit. It seems to me that people who have a problem with the suit want Superman to look like a cartoon/anime character in live action. The suit is fine the way it is.

I never really cared for reactions to test screenings because everyone has different opinions. But I will say, I'd rather hear that it's a mess than it being "the best movie since the dark knight." Once I hear that line I know the movie is bad.

I have actually seen more positive reactions to the test screenings than terrible ones but as always the negative reviews get the clicks. Like I have said in earlier posts, when has Gunn made a terrible movie. I am guessing the CGI is still being worked on and that is where we get the “terrible “ reaction.

People keep giving Campea crap, and I'll admit I don't always agree with the guy, however, Campea is one of the biggest Henry Cavill/Snyderverse Simps I've ever seen, and despite this he has not taken the route most of those people have and admitting that despite missing Cavill, he understands that Superman is bigger than any one person playing him and has shown great enthusiasm for this project. The guy has my respect not jumping on the hate bandwagon and giving it a chance. More than I can say for some.

I see it like this. I truly believe this will be the best superman film since S:TM. Why?
Well, Gunn knows that the entire dcu's success is practically riding on this film being a hit both critically and financially.

Gunn will put in lots of overtime on this to get it just right.
He's probably working on it as I type this.

He's his own biggest critic. If he watches it post production and sees so much as a CG hair that looks wonky, he'll have it fixed.

There is enormous pressure to get this right. He is probably putting more pressure on him self to get it right more than anyone else is.

Campea also has been so so when it comes to the new Superman project. He thinks FF4 will outperform it, does not like the shorts on the outside of the suit, and was not a big fan of the Supes flying snap shot. Campea obviously is not a shill. He thinks Man of Steel is one of the top comic book movies of all time.

It is society. Look at what is happening with the political landscape in America, sports, movies, streaming, ect….. Just lots of negative people. It’s the way of the world nowadays. I made a comment about your Superman suit modifications and you got defensive. So be careful throwing rocks at glass houses.

There's no confirmation of anything, but they'll be at cinemacon at the beginning of next month. So that's our best guess.
