Just saw the Minecraft footage. Delightful! The trailer at the end is indeed just a remixed version of what we’ve seen, with an added line from Lex and an extended Clois makeout lol.

I think it’s cut down from the version shown at CinemaCon though because the last part from the descriptions before the trailer portion wasn’t in there.

Now, again for clarity, said footage is only on IMAX screenings of Minecraft, right?
Has it been confirmed if this is all IMAX Minecraft showings - not just Thailand (randomly). Because the nearest IMAX to me is over an hours drive away.

Eh, today is too early. Sort of defeats the point of putting a sneak peek with Minecraft (a movie you want to drive additional viewers to) if you’re just going to chuck it online once the movie opens.

Superman Day for a new trailer/content of some sort just makes the most sense imo. It gives the preview 2 weeks in theatres before they either drop it online or give us something else to check out.

Superman Day for a new trailer/content of some sort just makes the most sense imo. It gives the preview 2 weeks in theatres before they either drop it online or give us something else to check out.

Superman Day has been my guess as well.

Ever since they announced the Superman day event I knew we'd get no trailer out of cinemacon. I can't even remember ever getting trailers the same night as cinemacon. It always felt unrealistic lol

Just got out of the theater myself. 100% it was trimmed version of what was shared at CinemaCon.

It was a little jarring to see the robots. We are absolutely getting something completely unique and like anything else we've ever seen on screen before. A few thoughts...

- All the colors and imagery on screen were vibrant and beautiful.
- Krypto felt a little out of place given the scene, but I am holding out for more context. The comedy just did not seem well placed. That said, I think kids will eat this up.
- The suit looks great on screen and the promo pictures really do not do it justice.
- The music gave me chills. Feels epic and deserving of Superman. Playing on the Willliams score was brilliant.
- The Fortress opening was so cool. The sci-fi elements of this are going to be a treat to see. This felt like a Comic book come to life.
