My preferred Superman Trilogy would start with Intergang, then Brainiac, then Darkseid for Justice League.
It's love, I was trying to play it cool.Liked?
I should never have left for so long!
I feel like Clark coming back from the fortress after all my training![]()

To put my tinfoil hat on for a moment, my current thinking is that the leaked plot featuring Brainiac which ViewerAnon posted Twitter was true, but the part mentioning a war in the Middle East had already been changed to another location. Giving Gunn his out to say it wasn't true.I will also say, I'm very grateful Dune is arriving when in it is. Since this apparently won't start shooting until the latter half of March, the first half of March was gonna be totally agonizing for me if it weren't for the beautiful distraction of Dune.
Too many of the scoopers, including somewhat credible ones, have said it's Brainiac. Gunn himself hinted at Brainiac. They included Superman: Brainiac in the recommended reading for Legacy. It's not like we're going on blind faith here. They either want us thinking its Brainiac so they can pull a switcheroo, or it's Brainiac.
I'm really hoping there's at least some reference to Intergang too. I want them to be in the background of Metropolis too.My preferred Superman Trilogy would start with Intergang, then Brainiac, then Darkseid for Justice League.
Maybe Corto Maltese. To put my tinfoil hat on for a moment, my current thinking is that the leaked plot featuring Brainiac which ViewerAnon posted Twitter was true, but the part mentioning a war in the Middle East had already been changed to another location. The criminal underworld of Metropolis that also bridges to Apokalips would be good world building. Lex of course would be involved.I'm really hoping there's at least some reference to Intergang too. I want them to be in the background of Metropolis too.
There was a rumored date of March 18th in Atlanta a while back. Don't know if it was credible or not. But the production work starts in Ohio April 1st. I doubt the cast will be there right away, as principle photography on the Atlanta soundstages will probably go a little longer than 2 weeks, I'd imagine.Do we know when in March this starts shooting?
100%. These are things that feel so obvious to me at this point, I really hope Gunn is on the same page. The criminal underworld of Metropolis that also bridges to Apokalips would be good world building. Lex of course would be involved.
@flickchick85 is psychically linked to Gunn ya know!100%. These are things that feel so obvious to me at this point, I really hope Gunn is on the same page.
Phew!
She gave us David, Rachel, and Millie... So maybe.Phew!
Can we ask him for some great Clois banter please?
Just me thinking out loud, but I'd make a good chunk of the promotion Lex centric.I loved all that build-up hype! There was a part of me that was hoping they'd do those video production diaries like we got for both SR and MoS, as those seemed great for generating hype (and I personally loved them), but then I remember, neither of those movies performed very well, so the studio now probably sees those kinds of things as a waste of money/resources.![]()
Just gonna throw it out there while we're on the topic too - this can also be done with Brainiac. That's basically what he did in AC, just with Lex and the government instead of Intergang. I just suspect DC/WB in general might not be in a hurry to attempt Darkseid/Apokolips again, given recent...attempts (+ the whole Thanos thing).100%. These are things that feel so obvious to me at this point, I really hope Gunn is on the same page.
Yes, that was me, I did that! Totally! She gave us David, Rachel, and Millie... So maybe.
She will also give us Trunks knowing her desire to see David in underwear.Yes, that was me, I did that!
At this point I'd settle for just... seeing David. She will also give us Trunks knowing her desire to see David in underwear.
I feel like you didn't think this comment through, because the alternative is "no undies."She will also give us Trunks knowing her desire to see David in underwear.

All true, I just feel like that would make me feel more certain if Gunn were only concerned with this film, but he’s involved with everything. To me, just based on the (admittedly minor) amount of information we have on Legacy, I have a hard time figuring out Brainiac’s place in what we’re seeing so far. To me, I get the sense that laying the groundwork for Brainiac would be better than just dropping him in act 3. And then when/if there’s a Justice League or Justice League-like project (that Superman is the actual lead of *quickly glances at Snyder*), there’s your Brainiac showcase.Too many of the scoopers, including somewhat credible ones, have said it's Brainiac. Undies. No undies. Why is it always one or the other.I feel like you didn't think this comment through, because the alternative is "no undies."![]()
Brainiac ain't a JL villain, though. He's a Supes villain. There are plenty of other villains to use for the JL. Just pick a threat from Morrison's JLA run, honestly. None of that's been done before. I believe that's one of Gunn's favorites, too. Let Supes (and Kara) handle Brainiac, please. He's hardly too "big" for them to handle on their own. They usually do.All true, I just feel like that would make me feel more certain if Gunn were only concerned with this film, but he’s involved with everything. But then again, I don’t even know what Act 1 and 2 are, so…![]()
Whatever happened to that guy who pitched David Bautista as Vandal Savage running what is essentially The Illuminati.Brainiac ain't a JL villain, though. He's a Supes villain.
