Also, there appears to be a yellow border around the shield.

Don’t disagree. But it’s not the bright primary yellow from the comic book pages. I wasn't the biggest fan of the idea of going with the Kingdom Come emblem either, but this is more of a case of using it as inspiration and a jumping off point that actually using it. There is lot more rounding and curves in this shield, in particular in the borders, in actuality it is more of a hybrid of early Golden Age designs and the Kingdom Come shield.
But the question is how manyWhere there's a birthday there's a cake.
