I like how nerds still ***** about the nipples and say almost nothing about the perfectly sculpted voluminous asses on the Schumacher suits.Posting gifs of Batman & Robin because I want to fit in even though this is a Superman thread until we get an official look at David as Superman (day 1)

I hate how they dialled up the fake muscles on the BvS / JL suit, it always looked so rigid and unnatural, and seeing it in the daylight just highlights it more.
MoS suit was superior in every way, even if the colours were a bit more muted.
Da **** is the point in the actors bulking and putting on all that real muscle, when you put those things over the top. I get you need definition through the material, but there's got to be a better balance.
Greg Pak’s Action Comics run from the new 52. This arc/trade is called “What Lies Beneath.” Wonderful story, and highly underrated run imo, probably because he was following Grant Morrison’s instantly iconic run. But he had another arc in there called “Under the Skin” that was not only a good “spooky” Smallville story, but it had a very cool take on the Ultra-Humanite imo. I agree with @Superchan that it’s really unfortunate the later part of his run got bogged down by forced crossovers with the inferior main Superman title, because he was cooking. What's this from?? Very intrigued.
Sawyer ruined many VHS tapes replaying this again and again.I like how nerds still ***** about the nipples and say almost nothing about the perfectly sculpted voluminous asses on the Schumacher suits.
Never understood why Barry's suit was so terrible and why Superman's suit has the puzzle pads from TDK.Posting screenshots of cinematic Superman portrayals each day until we get an official look at David as Superman (Day 12).

I wish that were the case. I only started to get a vague sense that something was up when I saw Colin Farrell in Daredevil and that’s far more embarrassing.Sawyer ruined many VHS tapes replaying this again and again.

By and large, I’m not a fan of most New 52 Superman, but I do have a soft spot for Gene Luen Yang’s short run on Superman. Yang knows how to bring the fun back into comics and he especially is talented at writing Superman.Greg Pak's Action comics run during the new 52 was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise failed 52 reboot.
I loved the way Pak wrote the N52 Clark as a highly intelligent individual (something that most writers tend to ignore) who sometimes does rash things because his compassion is so great that it can even overwhelm his great intellect. As opposed to most other writers at the time who just wrote the N52 Clark as a rash, moody guy because he's "young and hip" and that's what young and hip people do.
I would love to see Greg Pak write more Superman without being bogged down by cross-overs with Superman, Superman/wonder woman and Batman-Superman. The same goes for the other Greg (Rucka) who had end his run prematurely because of all the infinite crisis nonsense.
