If it was really intentional, I actually think that was incredibly smart.
I mean, if you look back at all of the first-look reveals we've gotten over the years, some of them are quite ****e. But, for the most part, they looked significantly better on film and in other subsequent promo shots.

Nah. The only thing he set was "shot on set", which could've been for a camera test too. I keep track of everything he says.
It was done while they were filming the movie though. It was on the actual set. I don't think it was a camera test whatsoever.

Regarding the collar, I don't think it changed from the reveal photo. Since he's sitting hunched over in the reveal photo, the suit is bunched up and i think it causes the collar to bend outward, making it look for circular in shape.

Once the suit is taut to his body, that's when you get the actual shape of the neckline.

Can anyone actually come up with an example of a superhero film, let alone any film, that released a reveal still that represented something that wasn't the final product? Seems like fools errand to try and explain the suit discrepancies as changes made before production. No one does that. The only time you see early versions of suits come from concept art released early on or early concepts that get used for marketing material.

Nope. The piping says that idea is wrong. You can directly compare the location of the opening to cape attachment/collar piping. The collar in the reveal photo is clearly higher, especially in the front.

They need to just call it a day and say that TB is in the DCU.

Corenswet and Battinson together for a World's Finest would cook.
Reeves and Battison are done-done after the second installment releases I feel. That is an established world Reeves purposely and endlessly created when Affleck pulled out and became his baby. Gunn is going to want his own Batman.

Madame Web. :o

My belief in the clone rumor’s validity has never been stronger, honestly. He definitely did not have these eyebrows in the release pic OR the two HQ looks at him we’ve gotten behind the scenes from earlier in the shoot. Something’s fishy.

I’m just relieved his real eyebrows are back right now tbh.

I swear, the behind shots of the cape almost make me feel like I'm looking at Chris Reeves version. And that's a good thing!

I grew up a Batman fan - and I kinda hated Superman. I thought he was boring, overpowered, not as cool, etc.

But in the last few years - I've come around to him a lot. He's bright, colourful, idealistic, hopeful. I really am rooting for this film. Superman needs a win, badly. I feel like the only things he's been apart of have either not done well or made him evil.

I think in today's world, we need a little colourful, hopeful heroism for a change.
