It all seemed to change when the Marvel and Disney trolls in the online/Youtube media came for BVS. I don’t think WB ever recovered from that avalanche of an attack. It makes the Star Wars trolls look like a blip on the radar. I totally get why the Snyderverse guys are the way they are after what BVS went through in 2016. Poor Ben…….

I figure by the time of this film, superman and lex probably have had several run-ins, with Lex being unsuccessful in all his attempts to kill superman.
This is probably his best attempt yet, ie, Frame superman to get him out of the way.

More than likely this clone, or not a clone, decides he will take the place of superman, but he kills, and he no longer follows the orders of Lex.

Well, certain things we learned this week. David looks amazing, and he smiled, like on camera, smiled. Superman and Lois look great together, even without speaking or not. The DP cast looks well cast. I am intrigued.

We should probably be prepared for new pictures from Monday and Tuesday, with luck mid day Wednesday, since it is a holiday week.

I loved the Clark pictures, he looked nerdy sexy. My greatest fear for this movie is the Gunn goes back to the pre-crisis, Reeve movies where Lois loves Superman and not Clark. That, for me, would be the one thing to ruin the entire movie, and mythos being created. I believe Gunn is smart enough to understand a Lois falling in love with Superman is easy, heck David's Superman is easy, tall, handsome, can fly, etc etc. If we regress to the Donner pre-crises format, then I see it as a failure. Lois and Clark and Superman and Lois were correct, Lois is attracted to the nerdish farm boy, honest, humble, smart, charming in his own way, hard working, if dorky. I kind of believe the whole movie hinges on that. If Gunn fails at that, he fails at the entire movie. I can't see beyond that.

I'm expecting something in between - I think he'll play it up at the Planet for comedic purposes, but I also think he will kind of inherently be a genuine dork like MAWS (and S&L). Fingers crossed he has some real (not comedic) moments with Lois as Clark, though. I need that relationship to have some authenticity to it.

While I expect there will be likely be a little more artifice to Daily Planet Clark's manner than say MAWS (there is just too much fun for an live action actor to play the duality), I really think there is still going to be a strong core of genuineness to Daily Planet Clark and his relationships there. Gunn would not be stressing how important Clark's human side and relationships are at the Planet if there was not emotional truth and realness to those relationships.

If you think about what Corenswet brings to the role over the other finalists, adorkableness is near the top of the list.
