Just looking at the recent pics, I hope supes doesn't have to kneel before flying off. I love it when he can just float about like in S:TM

To me this looks like a particularly urgent, high-speed dramatic take-off. But we’ll see. I like him to be able to casually float as well.

It's necessary to dig into that kneeling pose for power. It always looks great, especially if you want an overhead shot. I'm really eager to see how Gunn tackles the flying. Excited to see what he cooks up.

I liked the bathtub scene . I liked the opening sequences, the Wayne's death etc. I even LOVED the 'MARTHA!' 'WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME' bit. I cried in the cinema. What can I say, I'm a sap

Don't feel bad! I was ripe for the taking with that scene. My mother was going through breast cancer at the time and it was trying for myself and my family. When that part hit, it went straight to the heart, so it worked for me where I had instant relation, regardless of the memes. As I get older, I'm way more accepting to what I like because I like it.

I'm looking forward to talking more about Gunn's Superman.

I'm loving all the little references/easter eggs Gunn is throwing in this film. The one newspaper where Superman is flying the bus full of cancer patients to see the pyramids in Egypt... man, I'm so glad he loves All Star Superman!

It doesn't take me much to fall in love with stuff and that is one of those things to see Superman do that I instantly fall in love with.

Brother, every summer I watch Superman the movie, Superman 2, Superman returns, and MOS. You can’t get better than those 4 movies for Superman. Returns Superman is so underrated. Routh was so good.

When I said to you before that your talking points sound like they’ve come from “the worst corners of YouTube” he was EXACTLY who I was thinking of. Absolute waste of time/energy/space.

Anyway, on the topic of what you actually want to discuss, yes, I believe there are 2 suits, but that 2nd darker suit is probably the one from the officially released pic and may be the clone/Ultraman.

Here's a look at the second costume. It definitely looks like James Gunn took everyone's issues to heart.

As I don’t particularly enjoy any Superman films to date, I’ll be prepping with rewatches of Lois & Clark, Superman & Lois and MAWS. Hell if I start early enough, then probably STAS and Superboy too while I’m at it. Good times will be had.

Superman and Lois is my my most anticipated Fall television show. The next two years we should be getting our fill of the Man of Steel. Great time to be a Superman fan…….

I'm in a Superboy rewatch at the moment and chuckling about how similar some episodes are to LnC. To the point of even hiring the same actor for a very similar villain role

It's obviously horrific acting, but its good fun.

I don't mind the Thomas Wayne thing in BVS... I don't need Thomas to be a saint or even too heroic. I quite liked that they made him a little dirty in The Batman. All you need is for the murders to give Bruce the trauma.

Also, would rather not defend the Snyderverse too much, but ZSJL is of damn course the better film. It's long, a little tedious and two or three horrible ideas, but the character work is much better and the climatic act with Flash is legit cooler than anything in the original.

All Star Superman

For live action, I’ll probably watch S:TM, but beyond that I think I’ll only be watching Superman & Lois. Like @DCDAVE said, that’s my most anticipated show being released this fall.
