I really hope the flying shots are better than MOS, I couldn't stand them, it was always that one shot posted above or him flying off into the distance.

I wanna fly with Supes like I get to web sling with Spidey

I believe the flying shots are the money shots that Gunn is hopefully saving for the movie itself. I think we will get a flying shot for the story trailer in May. Gunn showed a shot of what to expect in the teaser before the teaser Wednesday. Gunn seemed to hold back most of the money shots.

Wow!!!!! All the other movies except for Transformers had the Disney bump.

This is offensive and not funny. I don’t care about that at all. God forbid someone have different taste.

I genuinely think Durance is the best Lois by far. Along with Rosenbaum as Lex being the best. Smallville got a lot right, to this day it’s the most complete and satisfying retelling of the saga of Superman for me personally. They attempted nearly all the classic villains to varying degrees of success and most of his supporting cast was introduced fairly satisfactorily. It’s not perfect but it’s definitely my favorite Superman themed tv show.

I don’t get the love for Superman and Lois. Not nearly enough action for me and I didn’t give a **** about his kids.

Lois and Clark is pretty good for a 90s Superman but the corniness is hard to stomach. Good casting though for the leads
My response is offensive? Maybe think about your original post.

It's one thing to say you think an actor or portrayal is sexy. It's another to say someone is "the sexiest BY FAR". That sort of comment goes beyond personal preference or opinion and instead suggests a competitive ranking of people's physical beauty and an implied insult against the other actors who others have said they found incredibly attractive.

Then there is the issue of how the two actors you were comparing were shot and portrayed by the respective productions. Lois&Clark had a female showrunner and both Lois and Clark were depicted as equally sexy. Lois' attractiveness was often implied or reinforced in mature means with provocative outfits that still leave a lot to the imagination.

In contrast, Smallville depicted Durance's attractiveness through very juvenile means with a very strong element of the male gaze. Her sexiness is established with very obvious scantily clad moments like her coming out of the lake in slow motion in a skimpy bikini or going undercover as a stripper and performing pole and lap dancing, once again in very revealing lingerie. All of which puts considerable focus on Durance's augmented breasts.

As a teen, I found Durance's Lois very attractive, but as an adult who is more aware of issues involving the media's depiction and objectification of women, it is very clear that the way that character's attractiveness was depicted is problematic.

Plus, and I mean this with all due respect to Durance but, she couldn't hold Bitsey's coffee when it came to acting. I never really bought her as a reporter (honestly Chloe was more believable and that is saying something) and I never felt there was any real chemistry with Clark. She could have been literally anyone, her Lois stood out in no way...

Not Durance's fault in a lot of that...the writers of that show sucked at writing women.

I thought Erica was the best thing about Smallville outside of John Glover, but they still wrote her absolutely terribly (remember the whole “sleeping with the editor right after becoming properly employed at the Planet” debacle?), and she would probably fall right in the middle of my Best Lois rankings. Teri and Bitsie both rank above her, and a couple of the animated ones as well. But she’s above Amy, Margot, both Reeves show actresses and Bosworth easily for me.

To be fair to Durance, I thought she acquitted herself very well, especially in the later seasons of the show and was one of its highlights. Her acting was very much CW teen show level, but for me it worked really well in the context.
