Including Battinson in the DCU feels a little like creative betrayal. We all get what Reeves's Batverse is about... it's a crime drama, where the most power you can have is through lots of guns, lots of manpower. That's compelling enough. The word "organic" gets overused a lot, but if they throw Battinson and Gunn's Superman together, it'll feel very much not that. We'll all know: it's a corporate move done for brand management purposes. That sense of fidelity to a vision is precious... why lose it for no reason?
Let them do what they planned. An alternate, more fantastical Batman that has Robin, Ra's, Killer Croc, Dr Phosphorus, all the stuff that doesn't fit tonally with Reeves's thing. Works fine.
