Well, I love Catwoman and want her in the film - and I agree it seems like a waste not to have her if you've got Selina, but it's not going to break the movie for me somehow if she isn't. Geez. :funny:

Hopefully it'll be a point the movie pivots on, like Harvey Dent in TDK.

I think "backbone of the movie" (as nolan puts it) will return to bruce again.

I'm extremely interested in how the manhunt and the (possible) backbreaking affects batman and I am excited to see how bale plays it.

Wow!

What a great time to be a Batman, Superman and Green Lantern fan isn't it?

Hardy is Bane, Hathaway as Catwoman, Cavill as Superman and more Green Lantern news will be heating up even more in the next few months, with a
2nd Trailer coming with Sucker Punch in March!

Good times and let's remember to enjoy the ride folks! :word:

^Cool, thanks but there are actually people who think Catwoman won't appear in this film?

Not me, really, I was speaking hypothetically. But it always nags when a question on a matter like that is evaded.

Nolan's a frustrating person like that. :woot:

I just really want to know what the costume looks like. Sounds like Wally was practically drooling. :funny:

Also, this:

It’s in Part Two that I join in and talk quickly turns to the new Batmovie. Pfister answers several questions, and makes it clear that he’s deep in prep, has read the screenplay. “As much as possible” will be filmed in IMAX, he promises, and he also makes specific reference the opening sequence being something impressive, something that could live up to, if not surpass, the spectacle of the last film.

They shouldn't tease us with stuff like this!

I'm typically not one to be too much of a hound dog over celebrity pictures, but the pic of Anne in that Bleeding Cool article is outstanding.

Aside from the Anne/Catwoman tidbit, there's a really great blurb in that article about as much of the movie being shot in IMAX as possible and that the opening sequence is something really special. I cannot wait. Loved loved loved the opening of TDK, and am very excited to hear we're getting something similar for TDKR.

EDIT: Dammit Miranda! Beat me to it! :D

:wow:

Edit: Miranda beat us both. :woot:

This confuses me.

Pfister answers several questions, and makes it clear that he’s deep in prep, has read the screenplay.

But then when asked about the Robin Williams / Hugo Strange rumor...

Pfister hadn’t even heard the story. He did admit, however, that a lot is kept secret from him
If he read the script, how could he not know if Hugo Strange was in?

Meh. Probably looking too much into it.

Well I was thinking that Catwoman won't be in it but Selina is.

Somebody hold me.

Because he is a filthy liar.
Reading the article over, I think he means that he hadn't heard the rumor that RW is Hugo Strange. Surely by now he knows what the story is - he needs to make up a shot list! :funny: And he's never come across as someone who lied. This interpretation makes sense since the next thing he talks about is the screentesting process for Selina.
