Cool, I hope so, lots of news today and I've been gone for the whole thing! Always seems to happen that way.

If The Dark Knight Rises is shot entirely in IMAX, it would simply be amazing. I remember when the first frame opened for The Dark Knight in an IMAX theater and the entire audience gasped and burst into applause. An entire film shot in the format would just be incredible.

Also, Rachel Weisz must be in the film, whether as Talia or Catwoman. It must happen.

If they do shoot full in IMAX, I'm gonna have to find a real IMAX theater. According to Google, the two theaters closest to me are LIEMAXs.

I was lucky enough to see TDK at the IMAX in NYC where they had the premiere. I'll be going there again for TDKR for sure

Gotta love these lists they keep throwing out. All the actresses are good, I personally don't want hathaway. If catwoman does end up being in the film, is she a villain or a love interest. I like when they play up both angles and I would prefer selina and bruce know eachother.

That is definitely one of those memorable moments I'll always keep, seeing that on Imax a number of times. Two of his movies have had those moments that are great to be in a packed theatre. The opening Imax shot of the city in TDK and the very last scene of Inception.

Quite possibly my favorite theater experience ever. Scratch that. Not possibly. It is without question. LOL.

I remember the viral screening, and how silent the theater was when the WB logo came on. You could literally here a pin drop. It was very eerie, and very electric. I think everyone could sense it too, because no one dared to make a sound. And then the city shot came on, filling up six stories of screen.

Awe. A woman down the row let out a really loud gasp. The guy next to me simply went "Hooolllly shiiii..."

And then silence again.

I still stand to say that the full IMAX used for TDK is much more immersive than the 3D I've seen. If this rumour turns out to be true, and Nolan does indeed go full IMAX, I say with confidence that it will probably be the most immersive moviegoing experience that I will ever have the fortune of being apart of. At least, in my life so far. Who knows where the tech will go in the future...

If the rumours are the front page are true, my money's on Vicky Vale and Taliah Al Ghul.

Out of the rumoured, I like Rachel Weisz, Keira Knightley and Natalie Portman.

Rachel Wiesz would be awesome as Taliah and Portman would be great as Vale. Knightley, IMO could do either... so long as she can pull of an American accent like Oldman, Bale, Murphy and Ledger (for Vale at least).

Vicky Vale. Interesting, very interesting. She didn't even cross my mind, but that is a good prediction.

She can. Watch The Jacket

Not saying it will happen, but it just seems right.

My issue with bringing Catwoman in now is that they won't do her character justice in one film. If they wanted to use her, she should have been parallelled to Batman in Batman Begins and had been a minor villain in The Dark Knight and then the love interest The Dark Knight Rises - we would've also gotten the whole mob tie in bringing it full circle.

Considering this didn't happen, the only way to bring it full circle is to have Taliah Al Ghul come in.

Also, the only logical love interest at this point would be Vicky Vale - they used a made up character - IMO - they should now use a real love interest of his.

I want Weisz for Taliah and Knightley for Vale.

Only if she does more than just scream like she did in the last Batman she was in
 Nolan can deliver it pretty damn well - I can only hope. Plus no one (casual movie viewers) remembers who Vale even is - a lot of the comic book and film fans even forget her a lot. The thing is she's been in every long term Batman comic series I can think of. Nolan could revamp her character, especially considering how he wouldn't really have to be tied down using her. Imagine what we could get...:wow:

I'd like to see Vale. She's pretty much the second most recognizable love interest

My guess is that Weisz is up for Catwoman, and probably has the best chance of landing the role. As far as the other role/actresses, I haven't a clue. I'm not really a "movie buff" so I'm not familiar with all of their work. Seems strange that Bruce is getting a random love interest though.

whoa, tanit phoenix is gorgeous. She is physically perfect for any part. How bout that acting skill?

They crammed in a whole lot with both Joker and Two-Face in one film. Handling Catwoman in the same timeframe is more than possible. They just need to be careful with who else is in the supporting cast, because they have to deal with her dual identities as well.

Based on what grounds? What is so distinct about Vale? Her relevancy in the mythos is practically non-existent compared to the other females.
