Would be a bit weird if the bunch of ninjas come back into the picture.
Agreed. At this point I don't want to see Bane as more than a side villain, if at all.
How do you do Bane as a side villain without watering him down to hired muscle?
The whole point of Bane is that he is THE guy. The man with the plan. The mastermind. The man whose sole mission is bring down the bat and become King of Gotham A Number One!
Hugo Strange fits with the escalation theme, so does Catwoman, and even though I'm still not thrilled with the character, so does Black Mask.
All three characters represent the duality theme, which has been left unexplored in Nolan's Bat-Films.
I know, I only brought it up not because I thought it was good, but because it was going back to SM1.
and I was just saying, what they did to spiderman is an example of how to bungle a trilogy.
I agree with you. I really hope it's not Talia. I have no desire to revisit the whole League of Shadows stuff again.
So that means Talia for the villain and Sarah Essen as a love interest for Gordon. Wasn't the love interest supposed to be for Bruce Wayne ? I don't understand.
Talia is a very underestimated character...that´s why I like her !
I found this:

See the whole thing with spiderman 3 and sandman really being the killer, seemed like a really random thing to bring up 2 movies later, it was like "oh by the way, it was a totally different dude..aaaaaand plot for a new movie..go." Just seemed like a really lame thing to build a movie on. It took away from two other possible stories, one that had been built up for the two preceeding movies, with the tensions with Harry, and one new threat that had a lot of wasted potential Venom.
My thing with Talia, coming back for revenge, or any other story you would want to tell with her, is that it'd be like if Harry Osbourne hadn't been in the first two spiderman films at all but then quite randomly showed up in spiderman three and was all
"Hello, my name is Harry Osbourne. You killed my father. PREPARE TO DIE!"
I think we all know that Brad Dourif will be cast as The Joker, and all will be good in the world. The film will win eleven Oscars, and earn $700 million dollars at the domestic box office.
I would actually love it if Ra's came back, but I don't think it's very likely.
Liam Neeson was awesome as Ra's, though. His performence is extremely underrated.
