I just watched it Teddy sseems real cool down to earth dude. Kevin and him were talking about how they ended season and how big a climax its gonna be they said they dont even no what they can do for next season after what happens in the finale so we must be in store for something ****ing awesome cant wait for tonights episode

FLASH Facts: The Speed Force

 

Supergirl was renewed for a 2nd season and is moving to the CW and will be filming in Vancouver. Expect more cross-overs.

 

I hope that means Kara, Superman and Martian Manhunter will exist in the Flash and Arrow universe. I don't know how they're gonna explain it but it'll probably be Barry's fault that their two worlds are now combined LOL.

 

Wouldn't be much of a stretch that they have E-1 counterparts, but yeah, wouldn't be surprised to see the show introduce a stable portal between Earths 1,2, and 3.

 

Wasn't the newspaper about a COIE event in the near future?

 

If I'm remembering correctly, in the crossover episode, they mentioned not having Central City on Kara's Earth. I'm not 100% sure of this though.

 

The newspaper showed that Crisis happens in 2024.

 

No, they had a Central City, they just didn't have any signs of a Barry or Cisco or such existing. As for merging, the universes might get merged eventually, but that certainly isn't going to be the case from episode one. Expect more interdimensional visits, though.

 

Has anyone theorized that Earth 2 might be the Earth from the 90's Flash TV show? I paused the final scene from the last episode and noticed the villains from Earth 2 looked like rejects from the 90's TV show. Also the architectural stylings from Earth 2 match the Art Deco style from the old show.

I think the man in the iron mask on Earth 2 is the Flash from the 90's show. Remember Barry saw the 90's Flash when he travelled to Earth 2? When Zolomon became Zoom on Earth 2 he must have "taken care" of the original Flash who would probably be his first nemesis. Whether he was still active or retired is still to be determined. Then he assumed the identity of "the Flash" as Zolomon said "to give people hope". We also haven't seen Henry Allen's Earth 2 doppleganger! When the man in the iron mask was tapping JAY he was warning Barry that Zoom was Jay Garrick, and he hasn't figured the Zoom is actually Hunter Zolomon.

But I digress, I'm just now have this massive expectaion of seeing John Wesley Shipp donning the 90's Flash costume along with Kid Flash and Jessie Quick!

 

Just be prepared for earth 1 Henry to be killed. some how as soon as he told Barry he wasn't going any where. ....

Not sure if anyone mentioned this before or if I missed the discussion, but what do people think of Barry's conversation with his "mother" at the end of Episode 21?

Is the Speed Force actually able to access the thoughts and/or "consciousness" of people or was that a moment of Barry willingly deluding himself by pretending that he was genuinely talking to his mother?

 

Hm. But then what about the Earth-2 Barry we've already met?

 

I'm 70% sure Henry Allen is the man in the mask on Earth-2. They wouldn't have had him say "Garrick? That was my mother's maiden name" if it's not coming into play later.

Maybe Henry Allen is Henry Jay Garrick on Earth-2. I don't know how they could pull that off though haha.

 

I did think it strange that the Speed Force was so emotional when in Barry's mothers form; it was basically Barry's mother by proxy, for all intents and purposes.

 

What about twins? On Earth-2, Henry could have had a brother named Jay. Their parents separated, and Jay kept his mothers name. So Earth-2's Jay Garrick, would be Barry's uncle.

 

Agree on the 'Garrick' comment that Henry made. Some people were saying that it was a throwaway aside but I think it definitely had more meaning to it. I just want to see JWS in a Flash costume so bad - either in his old 1990 one given that we saw a glimpse of his previously [although that wouldn't make sense as he'd have to be Barry] or as Jay, in Jay's costume.

 

I suggested the separated parents thing to my wife and she had this blank stare going cause it seemed too convulated LOL.

The twins thing seems kinda cliche though and Henry would totally remember having a twin brother.

 

Remember when most of us immediately thought he was cast as Jay Garrick? I hope to God he's Jay Garrick.
