Unless I'm mistaken, there have been several incarnations of the Royal Flush gang, so this one could have just been a new one that wasn't associated with the ones that Oliver met back in Season 1.

I really liked that nod to the universe. It's awesome to see how cohesive the two can be yet still function completely separately.

After all the complaints last week about why Barry didn't just disarm Heatwave and Cold, it was nice seeing him actually disarm the rogue and have it work against him.

I can't wait to see how West investigating Wells will turn out...unless it results in Joe being killed.

ETA: It was nice to see Iris at her job. Her character could use a little development. It's kinda funny, though, how it didn't occur to her that the main reason she was hired was to report on the Flash.

Yeah I hear you but they are great together. Will be interesting to see how the rest of the season goes. I have no idea what is going to happened has I haven't read the comics before.

Really great episode here.Every bit as good as last week. Pied Piper was great.Loved his history with the team. He was that guy you love to hate.

Not sure it's a great Idea to take a photo with your mask off. Those things aren't safe anywhere these days,it seems.

I really have no negatives about the episode,though I thought Piper using his hearing aid/implant as a bomb was somewhat impractical. How did he replace something that looked like it was surgically implanted by himself?

I even really liked Iris today! The reporter angle is a good place for her.At least we're out of the "I'm worried about Iris" dogpound.

So Wells speed isn't working properly....

I enjoyed seeing the Royal Flush Gang again,granted they probably had no ties to the Arrow version. I really hope they do something epic with them eventually. Why was there only 3? You need 5 for a royal flush,emmiright?

Can't wait to see the Piper joining with the other rogues.I can imagine some of them wanting to strangle him.

Alright. I actually didn't even remember what exactly happened the last they were shown. But, I believe they weren't even the main villains of that episode and that with no knowledge of them, you'd think they were just a random gang Oliver stopped.

Well, the thing that makes it extremely odd,is that the King & Queen (aka the mom & dad) wanted out of that lifestyle.It was only the older brother that forced them to continue on for "one more score". That's why I expected a whole new take on the gang and not to be the same members.

I hope the producers take advice from how they had Barry going up against Pied Piper when it comes to future villains that only have advanced weapons at their disposal (ahem, Captain Cold and Heatwave).

Tonight's episode was pretty much what Barry should have done in "Revenge of the Rogues", let alone on how to challenge him in the same time.

I was afraid it was this cliche: "Hey, I know the secret"
And the person making that statement says nothing.

Any possible theories as to how did RF in episode 9 would confront Barry and beat him twice, kill the police, survive whatever the trap was doing to his body, and yet we found out Wells powers have some issue. Even if the Man in Yellow was from a different timeline from Wells, how did he not have problem using his powers but Wells does?

Easy explanation could be that he used most of the remaining powers he had, during his fight with Flash. Now he barely has any juice left.

Also, I love the irony of someone like Wells, who keeps secrets from everyone he knows, living in a glass house.

That would make sense for the last fight of that episode. He wanted the device, and Barry tried to stop him, and he had no choice but to use his powers, but doesn't make sense why he would for no reason go and confront Barry earlier in the episode and go all the way to the stadium to fight. Surely, RF would not try to take that risk if his powers were limited. He could have been exposed by Flash if he lose his powers in the fight.

Might have been a risk he had to take. He's probably continuously losing power, and knows he will eventually lose it all, unless Barry manages to establish his connection to the speed force. So the fight with Barry was a necessity, to force him to develop his speed.
