The HULK Thread - Part 1

Hulk blew my f***ing mind!

Forget Korg, Hulk was the funniest/most adorable character in this movie.

His entire argument with Thor was gold.

I disagree.

I hope he keeps evolving and becomes more like Grey Hulk - as smart as Banner but still in Hulk form.

Hulk was one of the fan favourites from Avengers 1 and he is most definitely a fan favourite and highlight of Thor 3. To see how much he has evolved is such a joy. I am super pumped to see how Hulk continues to evolve over the next two movies!
I disagree with that! :woot:

I think this version of the Hulk is better able to elicit sympathy from the audience. That "awww" from my crowd in one scene wouldn't happen if he was intelligent. He is childlike and the audience will respond to that.

Banner is boring frankly. I've already had to endure all these versions of "Hulk" where Banner is the dominant character and Hulk is a gloried mute cameo in his own movie. So turning the Hulk into a green Banner would be the worst possible thing I could imagine. Great....I get one movie with the real Hulk and they are already moving on to "all Banner"?

Remember how people thought Thor's personality was boring in previous Thor movies? Just imagine how audiences would react to a "Professor Hulk". Ugh....

"They call you the stupidest Avenger"
"Thor the smallest Avenger"
"Hulk smash Thor" "I won that fight, you know it"
"Yeah, Thor leave. .HA HA HA HA"
When Thor goes to sit next to Hulk on the bed, Hulk literally gives him a cold shoulder.

"No, nope. Uh uh, no"

Then when Thor is one the quin jet.

"FRIEND, STAY"
Spoilers jaqua99. Not everyone has seen it. :cwink:

And yes Hulk was very sweet at times. My audience also reacted to him being like that.
I also felt bad and sad for him. His characterization was on point.

I'm glad they at least managed to find a very good reason for this transition into a talking Hulk. Him having been Hulk for 2 years was a perfect explanation for the development of his personality. Now we can just go from here.

Yeah it works very well.

but that means Thor's adventures with Daryl are non-canon! noooooo!!1

Hulk was amazing, may he stay like this forever now.

yeah he was pretty awesome, the fight seen was :hmr:

Question do you think they were fighting to the death or to the KO? I just ask because it was obvious in fight that Hulk knew it was Thor, especially when he played into the whole Black widow palm calm technique.

I took it as a fight to the KO. Thor was definitely not going for the kill. That was clear by the end. Hulk knew they could both take it, and that after who ever KO'd they'll shrug it off. After the fight Hulk didnt seem angry with Thor at all. And they talked and bantered.

Quick question: Has any one found or heard of someone finding the hulk attractive?

Just curious.

I was a little disappointed in Hulk’s part in the finale. His fight with Fenris was a little short, and I was a little bummed he didn’t have at least a quick skirmish with [BLACKOUT]Hela[/BLACKOUT].

Yes, I heard some girls at the end of the movie say, they like him in a big man baby kind of way.

They would've probably liked him more if they showed his penis in the tub scene. Kmsl

Waititi wasn't kidding when he talked about Banner having some of the best lines in the movie.

Our entire theater busted out laughing at the exchange where he was talking about having to wear Tony's clothes.

The reason hulk still fights Thor even when he clearly knew it was him makes more sense after you've seen it. He's finally happy and he knows Thor means he'll want him to go back to where he's feared.

He's also under the impression that Thor only likes Banner, and Hulk HATES Banner.

How are we ranking the Hulk’s appearances from the 3 films he’s been featured in ... I have no interest in seeing this movie as it’s basically a Thor GOTG movie and the comedy annoys me. But curious to see how this Hulk stacks up after his atrocious turn in Ultron following his best cinematic rendition ever in the original Avengers.
