Bradley Cooper and Ryan Gosling have been suggested so much for so many roles that they're starting to become boring, not as actors, but as choices. I want to see some new faces. Choices that either make me go "Hmmm, Now that's interesting." or "YES! YES!" or "WTF?"
My choice for Flash would be Scott Porter. Dude needs to play a superhero.

Yeah I remember the two being up for Captain America before. I figured I'd go with the unknown route for Flash and GL.

porter is quite boring as an actor. why does he keep being brought up? what's his claim to fame? friday night lights? not being cast as superman in jl:mortal? having a 2 line role in speed racer? i just don't get it. he's like the gina carano of flash choices. just doesn't make sense. what happened to award winning or, at least, award nominated actors?

I put Eddie Redmayne for Flash given that WB seems to be going for a younger more idealistic Flash who's paired with the more experienced group. Having seen him in Les Mis and My Week with Mariyln , I could envision him looking up to Bale and Cavill and being the sort of naive , idealistic one of the group. If they go for the more established Flash who's been around a while then I would say Gosling or Cooper.

Fap material will sell more tickets.especially if it sucks. Saw gi joe 2 and a ton of women were talking about it afterward outside of the theater, most saying they only went to see channing tatum shirtless. They blurred out Adrianne palicki's butt, I was thoroughly disappointed. Expected more tna from her. :*(

You realize that Shemar Moore is like 42? If he got the part, I think he would actually consider it an honor.

GL isn't that defined in the public consciousness as say Superman, Batman, or Spiderman so the age thing wouldn't be an issue.

He doesn't look 42. You cast him and you'll get all the Criminal Minds fans coming to the film (maybe around a half million people).

I like some of the suggestions being thrown around here. People are definitely thinking outside of the box. Good stuff!

Although I don't see some of the suggestions at all in the role, I like that people are providing further suggestions.

Also, seeing as how the studios never ever follow the comics or cartoons exactly I can see them changing up the JL roster a bit; making some heroes younger and/or older than others. I wouldn't be surprised or turned off if the film was told through the eyes of the younger hero more so than others, for instance the Flash. If the Flash was the youngest of the group, for whatever reason, either in age or in his time fighting crime I could see the story being told from his point of view and how he sees the others, or how he is the hero that saves the day in the end but must rise to the occasion of being a world or galactic superhero and not a local crime fighter. Maybe Batman counsels him and teaches him through his own experience....especially with having no powers.


I wouldn't also mind seeing the story from everyone's perspectives a la a mixture of LOTR and how Casino and Goodfellas was were people were monologing offscreen.

I've suggested Giuntoli in the past; really like him in Grimm and I feel he'd be able to do a really dark and brooding Batman. The suggestion didnt take off though as people just seem to think he looks like Brandon Routh too much.

I still think Steven Strait would make a good Batman/Bruce, especially if he put on 20-40lbs of muscle. I think he would compliment Cavill's Supes nicely. He's young enough to do a new franchise with and has a deep enough voice to come off as intimidating in the cowl.

Here are my suggestions. I know Pine wont be in JL. But he;s still my Fancast. I know you guys hate Ackles. But he is the Batman i see. Even if he is a bad actor. Dean WInchester is Jensen Ackles. Even if he is one dimensional. I'm ok with that because Dean is Batman for me. And so on and so on. Like em' or not these are my picks.
