No you're seeking attention by announcing your bad taste and low standards on the one thread where you will most likely be attacked for it.
Bad taste?? Ha! I could same about you! I always found 616 FF boring as ****! you sir, are the one with bad taste.

Really? You ALWAYS found 616 FF boring as ****?

Then why when I asked if you had ever read a FF comic before you said this -

The only Fantastic Four comics I've read are the UFF ones, and I haven't read any 616 comics where Doom has appeared.

The troll always reveals itself.

So Stan Lee and Jack Kirby had bad taste in inventing the classic FF, launching the Marvel universe and changing the comic book landscape?

And millions of fans who have enjoyed the 616 FF over the decades have bad taste?

Right. :whatever:

The clue really is in this threads title as to who should be interested in posting here. Anyone happy with Fox's handling of the FF? I don't know why they even look here, never mind bother to post. They don't hope the rights can revert so this should be of no interest to them at all, and there are other threads available to extol the virtues, as they see them, of Fox or this film.

It is kinda like an atheist walking into a busy church during a Sunday sermon and yelling "You are all wrong!! There is no God!!".... Not a smart idea.

I'm not seeking attention. I'm just expressing my opinion.

More like expressing your boredom...Otherwise you would've posted this opinion in that "Positive" Thread.

But then who'd want to entertain that fallen tree in the woods theory, if you catch the meaning.

Just finished watching Chronicle. It was on a couple of nights ago and I had it taped. It was a good enough film, but nothing that made me the least bit hopeful for this film. The open felt a bit by the numbers with the whole 'nerd being bullied' shtick and didn't really do anything new there. Everyone just seemed to be going through the motions until it picked up, which thankfully wasn't long. A decent story overall and the found footage wasn't so obnoxious, but it certainly did become fairly convoluted throughout the film and especially near the end when it really kicked off. It was fairly gimmicky, but wasn't too noticeably for most of the film.

In the positive thread there is no real discussion since it's only about 5 people in total praising this movie. If they're not all there at once or are taking a break, it becomes very low activity, unless someone else joins in (who will probably have a more negative view of this movie).

Was that Domashev in disguise you think?

Well if the hood fits (which from the leaked photos, it doesn't fit very well :oldrazz: )...

This is exactly the kind of reimaging I was expecting. Like...everything makes sense but I just feel like these are unnecessary changes. I'm mostly displeased with Doom and the containment suit. And did I read right...did it say Reed is just Reed? As in no powers?

Coming 8 months after their initial teaser trailer, FOX just released a full length trailer for "Peanuts" coming to theaters three months after FFINO. A film for which an image has yet to be released.

In an interview with USA Today, Producer Paul Feig told the reporter that the focus of the Peanuts film would be on the timeless quality of 50-plus years of beloved comic strips and TV specials. Couldn't FOX have hired him for the FF?

Didn't Matthew Vaughn mention something before about Reed not being a stretchy guy? He seemed to be mocking the previous FF movies and even the basic concept of the comic since Reed is stretchy by virtue of his powers. Maybe that's not realistic enough for Trank here now (and probably too effects heavy for the budget).

This movie is a message from Fox to Marvel:

FU.

Well, looks like Fox are getting touchy...

Got a polite email today from 'dtecnet.com' informing me my website contained an image of the leaked thing bust, it was the copyright of Fox etc, and demanding I remove it immediately. The only pic they mentioned was one I had amended to look different, though there was another still on there with the original and an amended one together for easy comparison.

No skin of my nose to do remove them all (I had forgotten they were still there), just amused by it tbh.

:funny: That's funny. If only Fox spent half as much money on production budgets as they did on lawyers.

This is an interesting point that I missed until Kar pointed it out, but that statement does seem specifically connected to their powers. And since they do seem to be changing powers and since we saw some early rumors in which Reed got 'super-smart' after the accident, it's possible that he won't stretch (which certainly wouldn't be 'realistic').

It's not out of the question at this point that Reed's powers could be eliminated.

Well you either spend more than the money on FF:ROTSS to showcase Reed's powers, or you end up doing this ropey extending arm trick like the Corman version of Reed and its practical effects. Or you get rid of it completely and say that it was done deliberately (when in fact they don't know how to do it on their budget without it looking cheap).

I'm beginning to wonder if Reed's "super power" is his intellect.

Reed's stretching effects looked really bad in the last two movies. Like "made for TV" bad.
