Let's say this person is legit. It's entirely possible that the person would be attached to the production. It's the simplest explanation of how the person in question would have this information. By that logic, we would be unable to trust any positive remarks said individual put forth as the success of the film would likely be in their personal interest.

I agree. I'm just speaking in regards to mercureyx's credibility. He's connected. How you interpret any information and what you choose to believe, is up to each individual. Myself included.

MercureyX didn't say that Miles Teller would be Reed - he merely suggested him as a possibility. Our "Insider" also raised the possibility of Elizabeth Olsen being cast as Sue Storm.

This made me think of what Trank's "Vision" would be like. I'm guessing it would just be some spyware designed by a computer hacker who goes by ULTRON on the interwebs.

...and that possibility turned out to be true, didn't it.

Again, first one on the internet to mention Teller and Jordan (and in Jordan's case he stated Jordan was locked in). Elizabeth Olsen was probably considered for Sue but we know what happened there.

mercureyx is definitely legit. He was the first person anywhere to break the casting of both Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller (on this very forum). He's proven himself. Like most, I don't know what to make of this production but in regards to mercureyx's credibility, he's definitely connected.

Why does Fox think they can change the name of Marvel's most iconic villain? Is Doom from Latveria? Does he practice sorcery? Does he try to free his mother's soul? Is he a self made man or a "fifth Beatle" who gets his "powers" from the same source as the FF? Why does he look like a dark elf hobo wearing trash bags and a sari? Does Miles Teller pose with duck lips the entire film?

That's my biggest issue here. If he was truly an insider would he risk his job to leak small bits of information that he admits may or may not happen? That just seems incredibly foolish.

Doom is a genius. He blogs, yes. So does Reed. It's hardly mentioned beyond that. Doom "blogging" is literally just something he does in the movie. It's a trait designed to show that Reed and Victor are contemporary young men. It's in no way a plot point or anything you should be concerned about.

He was the first person to bring up Jordan and Teller in regards to these roles before it was reported anywhere on the internet. Believe what you want, that's your right, but he's connected to the industry. A mod on here even confirmed it awhile back.

Its really not all that impressive. I'm sure a lot of people are connected to the industry. 3 of my immediate family members are connected to the movie industry. I've seen some things many of you guys would find cool before but I refrain from talking about it because I know the stakes. Either this guy doesn't value his job enough or he's been given the OK. This isn't a normal production so I'm going to guess this is some terrible attempt to do damage control.
