One thing that adds credibility is the 'Aaron Sim' credit at the top. He has done concept art for a lot a flicks. I was wondering if any of his Abomination ones matched this 'thing' but nothing from a quick search, so if this is for something new then the FF would be a likely candidate.

So I'd guess it is legit concept art for the thing, but it's not the design they are using beyond the shaping of the rocky skin (figure the bust is what they have gone with there for texture, the head etc).

Not orange, but glowing freaking green.

Why does Ben Grimm look like he has these two huge sagging boobs on his chest? They're like a boob job gone wrong, with the silicone having turned to rock.

Overall, he looks like a solid turd that has finally been squeezed out after days of constipation. Although Ben's face still looks constipated, so maybe it came out of his own ass.

But it doesn't matter what Ben looks like, as long as his character is correct, right?

You guys do realize characters usually get tons of different versions on concept art stage, and this is a single image. So many here act like this is the Thing we are getting as a fact already and that's just odd. "Oh this movie is horrible wow that's the worst character design ever i'm not seeing this movie." Ridiculous. That green thing is ugly as hell though.

Btw does it even say anywhere that this is for real concept art for FF? Couldn't find any info like that.

EDIT. The file name is called "Toxic" there where Hulk's file name is "Hulk" so that probably has nothing to do with FF.

Depends if that Aaron Sims Company credit is legit. That's a legitimate studio. They actually did work on the first Fox Fantastic Four film. I just saw that on their website.

My guess is that we'll see something vaguely similar that's brown/orange-ish.

Frankly, I'm unimpressed. I want the Thing, not the MCU Abomination.

Imagine the bust's head, colours and textures, with that shape body. So a more mossy grey with some orange & greenish tints than a shiny glass/marble effect.

Yes, that still isn't the Thing.

I'd do a mock up of what it might look like but I don't want another cease & desist from Fox (plus I can't be bothered).
