Universe/Timeline history*: Thomas and Martha Wayne had been trying to concive a child for a few years without success. Martha was schedualed to see a doctor in Metropolis about her condition, Thomas wanted to drive instead of flying, thought the country air could do her some good. She wanted to fly, told him not to worry about it, but he insisted (This was the changing event to the timeline)
While crossing through Kansas to get to Metropolis, a spaceship crashed near their car and actualy nocking them into the ships dirt trail. An middle aged couple where driving on the other side of the road during the crash. They helped the Waynes out of their demolished car, and intoduced themselves as the Kents.
Both couples quickly began to investigate the wreckage, and found a small infant boy inside the downed ship. The Waynes explained that their troubles in concieving, and the Kents shared with them similar experiences. In the end both couples knew that they coudn't let anyone else know about the crash landing or the government would take the child and he would be used as an experiment. That is when the Kents told the Waynes that they would hide the crahed ship if they would take the boy as their own and raise him well. The Kents could tell that the Waynes came from money by their cloths and their car, and they wanted the boy to have more than a poor farm life. The Waynes agreed, but made the Kents the boys offical God Parents.
Martha Wayne canceld her apointment with the fertility doctor, thus never concieving the true Bruce Wayne.
History: Raised by the Waynes for 10 years, the boy recived more love than anyone could hope for. His powers had been discovered by the Waynes early on, but the taught their son Bruce to never use them in public, and taught him of the consequences. He was only allowed to use his powers when he visited his god parents the Kents. When he was on their farm he would jump through feilds, run past the trains on the railroad tracks, and fly high in the skies.
One night after seeing an opera in downtown Gotham, they decided to leave early because Bruce was afraid. He had developed a fear of bats, strange for a child who could fry them in mid air with his alien heat vision, but reguardless his fobia continued. He saw the members of the opera dresses as bats and asked to leave. Upon exiting a man held a gun to the Waynes demanding money, young Bruce unsure of what to do stood their already afraid from the opera experince, his father told him to stay still and not to move, to remeber what he told him "Not in public!" Bruce stayed still, but when Thomas leaned down to consould his son the man with the gun shot him, and Martha Wayne, running off into the night.
The Kents were givin custody of Bruce, and the Waynes had left them ownership of their company in their will. They raised Bruce for the remainder of his life, yet never became directly involved with the company, and refused to move into Wayne Manor, although the Waynes butler Alfred did follow Bruce to the farm as he had grown to love the boy like a son. Together Martha and Johnathan Kent along with Alfred the butler would raise young Bruce to be a man. Bruce always felt guilty about not saving his parents that night, the guilt tore him up inside. The Kents did all they could to raise their Godson with all of the love shown by his parents, but his guilt would always show itself despite how happy he was. Bruce grew into a young man, angry and vengfull against his parents killers. He told his Godfather that he wanted to kill the man that killed his parents, that he could find him and kill him and no one could stop him. Johnathan Kent had always raised Bruce to belive that killing was wrong, as did Thomas and Martha Wayne, and to hear this nearly broke his heart. He revealed to Bruce that he knew where the man was, that he was up for parole, that Bruce could kill him but it would only bring him down, expose his secret, and indanger their lives. Bruce didn't care, he was going to kill him!
He came to the court the day of the hearing, he planed on buring a hole right threw hs head the moment he was relased, but something.....unexpected happened. A hired hitman killed him before Bruce could........Bruce was faced with the realization and the shame of what he knew he was about to do.....he knew that he would be no better than the hitman. That day Bruce ran away.....or technicaly flew. He flew to asia, to China, and then Japan, looking for the meaning of life. He had studied these places, knew that they were places of honor. Eventualy he allowed himself to be captued and put in jail, he allowed the police to beat him, faking injury, so that he could see the criminal element from the inside out. One day after effortlessly fighting many a few goons inside he was taken to solitary "For the prisoners protection" and was quikly met by a man named Henry Ducard.
Ducard took him in, offered him a place within the league of shadows ruled over by Ras Al Guhl. He showed Bruce that there where others like him, wishing to pursue justice. He taught him many things, theatricality, deception, and the arts of Ninjutsu and Bushido. Bruce kept his true abilities a secret from Henry, until the day he asked Bruce to kill a captued criminal, and destroy Gotham City because it had become to corrupt. Bruce fought of Henry and the intire League of Shadows, burning the halls to the ground with his heat vision and revealing to Ducard by doing so his secret. Ducard quikly droped his sharade and revealed himself as the true Ras Al Guhl, and offered him again a place at his side, to be his most prized student, promising that together they would free the world from evil......But Bruce knew all Ras wanted was to rule over it. He flew away that day and returned to the Kent farm. His Godparents welcomed him back with open arms. He spent the next few weeks contemplating what he would do with his new found knowledge, but it was not until his Godfather Johnathan kent unvield the crashed ship he originated from that Bruce would know.
Inside the Crashed ship Bruce found a crystal that called out to him. It showed him a place in a vison and spoke the words "Find me my son".....he thought the voice was that of his dead father Thomas Wayne, he followed the directions of the crytsal exactly but when he arrived somewhere in the North pole, but found nothing. In anger he threw the crystal into the snow, in an unexpected turn of events the ground shook and the crytal formed a giant crystal cave. Once he entered a figure dressed in white robs began to speak. he intoduced himself as Jor El......Bruces real father, explaing that he was truely an alien from the planet Krypton, Bruce spent the next few weeks learning of his heritage. He was told that he was sent to earth from his dieing planet to insure that the same would never happen here, that he was to protect earth. Bruce now knew his destint and wished to fulfill it. He did not like the crystal cave, it reminded him of a bats cave, and he feared the creatuers still. Jor El told him that as Kal El he could fear nothing, that his trials would place him in situations so trying that he should fear nothing......he told Brcue that he was meant to be a symbol of freedom, of peace. Bruce wanted to uphold his fathers request, but due to his own targedy he wanted to be more than that, he also wanted to be feared. He remebered his training under Ras Al Gh, the theatricality, the deception. As a man, despite his abilities, his face would be known, he was Bruce Wayne, everyone knew him. Thats when he decided to remove his fears by becoming them, that his fear would soon be the fear of his enemies. He would become a Bat-Man. Jor El could not understand why Bruce had chosen such a path, but at least it removed the fear from his heart, so using the Kryptonian technology his new costume was created. A black and grey Kryptonian suit with a bat molded into the Kryptonian symbol of his family.
Bruce Wayne, last son of Krypton, billionier playboy, now more than a human being, more than a Kyptonain, now a symbol, of truth, justice, and fear. He is.....The Batman.
